Hey Girls, im only 1 week post op and so far i love my boobs however i am the biggest worrier in the world and the more i read on Mya forum the more i worry.

What reasons are there can make you require a RE OP or further surgery.

I worry that i will have to have something done again cos im not lucky enough for everything to go ok xxxxx

Hi hun I have just had a re op last week but please don’t worry! I’ve worked it out like this, say there’s an average of 10 ba’s per day across all the hospitals, that makes 1400 a year but I’ll say 1000 just in case thats a bit much. In the last year and a half I have been on the forum I have seen no more than about 10 ladies having re ops so that’s 1% of cases. I know a lot have seemed to happen the last few weeks but like I say try not to worry! The way I see it is Mya is a great company with great surgeons who care abut the result they give their patients. I’m sure there’s lots of companies who would have sent me on my way but that’s what sets them apart! So basically the odds of you having to have a re op are really really low, but if by some small chance everything doesnt go exactly as it should then at least you know it will be sorted. I am so glad I had my ba even with having to have it twice lol and I am very glad I went with Mya xx

I’m scared somethings not right with mine and I’d hate to have my nose done again because it’s been such agony!!

With a BA things that go wrong are that you get double bubbles and one much bigger than other etc….sort of disfigurements to them – like if my nose was lopsided then I’d require a re-op…

But we can’t tell til after we’re recovered!!

I’m hoping everything will be okay with mine and I’m sure yours will be okay too think it’s natural to be worried!!

    xx

@amyk84 it’s nice to know that we’re in a good company that should anything go wrong they’re happy to sort it out for us. It’s unfortunate you required a re-op but glad for you that it’s all been sorted out xxx

im sure you will heal just fine with no complications or need of a re op so dont panic yourselves about it, im sure your surgeon will 100% satisfaction and nothing less. Anything less then perfection is totally unacceptable, xx

I needed it cos I was very assymetrical pre op and unfortunately there was till a noticeable difference post op so at 7 months I had a re op to put a bigger implant in one. Wasn’t nearly as bad the second time apart from the meds, my body seems to hate antibiotics, just my luck! Lol. Who was your surgeon hun? Mine was Mr Traynor and he is amazing, such a perfectionist. I’m a worrier too hun but honestly I’m sure you will be fine xx

Mine was Mr Taynor too, do you have I recommend him soooo much too hes ace!

Do you have to pay for a RE OP then? I learn something new every day. xxx
