really disappointed with mya

nicola i went through cardiff and i havent had this problem… in my 7day post op review with the nurse she arranged a date for 6weeks down the line… in your 2week check did she not arrange a date for 6weeks down the line?? x

Thats really strange ive found mya very helpful from day 1,I had my BA on friday and the nurse called me the day after to book my appointment for taking my strapping off, My PC also got in touch to see how things went,Ive also called the nurse up about the pain i was worrying about and she reassured me fully,ive found the birmingham clinic to be really great throughout and they are all lovely xx

Have you not booked an operation date? I was given a list of dates and then chose what I wanted/needed. Ive got the time off work and everything now. So I dont actually have a booked date yet?? Wooah – talk about confusin. Yeah, I’m gonna just have to go in with my voucher, thanks

u dotn know ur operation date til 4days before.. and they ring u. U should go in and take ur voucher hun, i showed mine at my consultation and they took it off straight away x

I guess I’m kinda disappointed with MYA. When your first enquiring – I had phone calls, e-mails, texts ALLSORTS every day. As soon as I booked a date and paid deposit I’ve heard nothing. I havent’ even had a letter to confirm my operation date etc. PLUS ive paid a deposit but got the

:angry:well i cant believe how disappointed i am with the aftercare with mya.
when looking for more info and going ahead booking the BA op the staff couldnt do enough for u constantly ringing u to see how things are goin and constant reminders of yr outstanding balance. staff were really friendly and made u feel like u were doing the right thing and that u were dealing with a fab company.
the sugeon was fab and the op went great in highgate back on 17th january 2010. however i now feel like a nobody and that i was jst a number. not once after the op did anyone from mya contact me to see how i was feeling after my op and if i had any problems. i seen my surgeon 2 weeks after op and havent heard or seen off any1 since i think this is appaling aftercare especially after the amount of money which has been payed out…..
i havent evern been contacted by any1 regarding my 6 week check up and im nearly 4 months post op.

has any1 else had this problem???

I attended my week after post op appointment and the nurse booked my six week follow up then. My PC texted me twice the day after my op as well to see how I was doing. Give them a call and let me know x

tHATS CRAP!!! I HAD MINE DONE WITH TRANSFORM AND EVEN NOW AFTER 7 MONTHS THEY RING ME LOADS, MY SURGENO HAS LEFT THE COMPANY, BUT THEY STILL DO ALL THEY CAN, AND SEND ME LEAFLETS AND INVITATIONS FOR TRANSFORM OPENING DAYS ETC, PLUS A LIFETIME CARD, FOR AFTERCARE, THERE VERY GOOD x

I’m only a week post op and have had 2 answerphone messages and 2 calls with my PC and the manager at the Newcastle clinic. They have been great! I really think you should ring them and say “what about my aftercare”! Its all included in the price and you are entitled to be looked after for the next 5 years never mind months. I really hope it gets sorted for you xxx

I would realy get in touch with them, you have paid for a service and your not getting it. I had a bit of a bad time with people getting back to me and i came on here and wrote how un-happy i was with the whole thing and a woman called Anne from head office phoned me to apologise and managed to sort everything out. I dont have my ba until the 27th of april and im realy hoping they dont forget about me. Id realy get in touch with the clinic hun, i cant believe your 4 months post op and had no check. i now but i feel so let down… its seems that once they had the money tha was it…..my pc was lovely b4 the op couldnt do enough for u then to be treated like this its babd really….
ull be fine chick im so pleased with my new boobies and the surgeon was great ….jst i have experienced very poor after carexxx

oh that dosen’t sound good i thought you was suppose to get at least 3 post op checks, sounds like they have forgotten about you. i know at leeds clinic they arn’t happy if you don’t attend your post op checks as this got mentioned at my first consultation. why don’t you give them a ring and tell them how you feel. im sure feedback would be importnant as they are a business and its one of the ways they can make improvements if feedback is given. sorry to hear that, im having my BA in may hope i get better treatment than that tho x
