REALLY HOT BOOBS, from the inside – worried :/ Left incision hurting

My BA was Saturday and my boobs have been very hot from day one. But today they have been uncomfortably hot. I have iced them for 20 mins at a time with only temporary relief. I’m not running a temp and the rest of my body is normal temp. I’m actually sitting here shivering right now because i can’t wear a top as my boobs are so hot It feels like the heat is radiating from the inside. Is this normal?

I’m also getting throbbing, shooting pain under my left boob where i believe the start of the incision is

I dnt think its anything to worry about, I have got it too I keep gettin really hot ! I’m jst trying to drink a lot xx

Thanks sezza – how are you getting on with yours? My incisions hurt a bit and this heat is doing my head in. Other than that I’ve been ok. I stopped taking my pain meds (and all others) because i had a reaction – do you think this could have an effect on temp?

Anyone else? Am really worried

Hey hun I still get hot boobs now and then and I’m over 4weeks post op. If it’s that uncomfortable give the nurse a call, they’re always there for u u might aswell use them! Xx

Oh and my left incision really hurts sometimes too. A friend who had hers done in December said hers still ache sometimes. Don’t get yourself worried you’re gonna feel lots of things over the next few weeks try to relax sugar xx

hotness is meant to be normal after the op it will eventually go on its own. and i had sharp stabbing pains for ages was agony, originally thot it was the incision but worked out it was the muscle stretching and repairing itself inside hurt! dont worry hun its all normal xxx

Ahh dont worry huni l was exactly like u l kept on shivering and my boobs were really hot. At one point my hubby was scared that l was getting an infection. Its part of the anasectic huni coming out of ur system. Im no doc so if u do get really worried call the nurse but l was like it xx

So glad I’m not the only one!!! It’s a nightmare cause I had to stop using the antibiotics they gave me (not taken any today or yesterday) due to a reaction. I also have a bad tooth abscess – so worried the infection will spread from one to the other. Can’t get a different antibiotic until doc’s is open tomorrow

Ahh cant be too great having to go thru the pain of a BA and also having a poorly tooth abscess x l thought l had a really high temperture and thinking shit am l meant to get this then suddenly was freezing scary. xx

Mine is ok…the incisions hurt abit tho! Bt I’m guessing its them healing! Xxxx

Just spoke to the emergency nurse and she says as there’s no temp or weeping etc then prob nothing to worry about. I’m going to see her tomorrow anyway just to be sure. I’m desperate to rip all this tape off grrr, it can’t be helping.
