Really pissed off with mya!!!!

I’m sat on my hospital bed in Highgate time for me to go down for my BA but can’t as MYA haven’t ordered my implants!!! When I phoned to check the other week and then again on Friday!!!! MYA service is crap!!!

WHAT?OMG how did that even happen/?is your surgeon there??? thats crazy

I heard from my boobie buddie that her post op appointment was cancelled and I called Holborn( stupid receptionists are useless there) and they told me I dont have an appointment at all…I was like ummm yes I even have it put on a card for me….I got so angry and put down the phone….text my pc and still waiting to reschedule my appointment but she was more helpful than their reception especially because im out the country for 18 days after that so i need to know im okay to fly etc.

I love MYA but they need to get the basics together.

hope somehow they can sort your surgery out for you…thats awful news…thinking of you and sending hugs

Yes he just came in to tell me, don’t know who he spoke to put they told him I have’nt paid to up grade I told him I had and I’d got the proof and I’d spoken to MYA on Friday. I’ve just rang mya myself now and I’ve been told someone will ring me back. What a bloody joke!!! They take your money but don’t give u the service. I have’nt eaten or drunk anything since 6pm. While I’ve been writing this I’ve had a call of MYA saying sorry there has been a delay on your implants there on there way. When I asked what the hold up was she couldn’t tell me or tell me how long they will be.

That’s awful Hun.. I keep hearing things like this and starting to put me off! Xx

I just want to know were my implant are and how long in till they get here. I’m dying of thirst

Well to be perfectly honest,I received excellent service from MYA.Im 12 weeks post op,but had I just logged in and seen all the post about bad service I would be starting to worry,I have been on this forum months and never seen so may complaints about bad service, PCs ignoring their paying customers,someone really needs to address all this before it spoils the companies good reputation.Mya mod is on hand all the time for us,but we have to realise he /she can only do so much,its the people in higher positions that need to sort this out.So very sorry that you have had to endure this xandreax lets hope the implants arrive soon and you can actually start to feel excited about getting your new boobs,big hugs honey,xxx

Its awful news that they messed up but MYA is still the best company to go through because your surgeon is one of the best.

I had that happen to me! I was meant to go down to theatre at 9.15 but didn’t go down until 1.30 in the end!! We had to wait for the implants to come from Manchester to Birmingham. I was absolutely livid! Hope they can get yours to you soon Hun. It’s not Great waiting around when you are starving! Xxx

i hope u eventually get ur implants and a reason as 2 why they didn’t order them in the first place.

i personally have had excellent service and it soo sad that mya let things like this happen..

That is terrible..I had my BA 3weeks ago..I asked for 410implants which the woman at mya (holbon) fromised she had ordered and then I woke up after surgery to see they had put 380implants in me..I’m so upset I don’t no what to do from here..mya has fobbed me off saying its not their problem..I’m so upset I dnt no what to do

They will put smaller implants in if your skin can’t take the bigger ones. They only know when they open you up. They do discuss that with you first and it usually only happens when the girl wants a bit bigger than the surgeons suggests.

Sorry you have a bad experience andrea. I had a few probs with the hospital i was at (doncaster park hill ugh), but overall MYA have been great. Ask for the head office address so you can send a complaint, and your PC should be able to help xx

hi all just thought id sign in and give you an update of what happened from the beginning to this point. here go’s :-

had my first consultation with Mr c (went with him as my friend Donna hasn’t long had her’s done with him.)she’s on here as xdonnax

we decided on 410/ 460cc unders as I wanted to look big but natural. anyway after coming home and Donna telling me about this site I logged on and started to get loads of information. I never new there were so many different types of implants and that you had a choice on which ones you had.

after getting to grips with it all I made another appointment with Mr c to talk about having the responsive implants instead. He said I could have 450cc I asked him if it was possible to go the next size up but he said the pocket my not be big enough, I said could we order them and see on the day, he said that was fine if he could fit them in then he would.

I paid for the upgrade on my credit card be for I left (3 Feb 2012).

A couple of days later on here I read about a girl who didn’t have the choice on the day between the soft touch and the responsive like she wanted because the responsive hadn’t been ordered in for her. With this in mind I contacted my pc a few days later to check mine had been ordered ( even telling her why I was ringing to check because of what I had read on here). she told me don’t worry that 450cc and 485cc responsive’s had been ordered for me. that put my mind at rest and I didn’t think anything more of it.

The Friday be for my op (op booked for the Tuesday)I rang my pc at tea time as I still hadn’t been rang with my admission time. (I was coming from Swansea to London so really needed to know if I needed to find some where to stay the night be for)any way got my admission time 7am, while on the phone I thought Id double check about my implants, she told me 460cc had been ordered for me. I said what do you mean I’m supposed to be having responsive’s I’ve paid for an upgrade! she said don’t worry she will just check my notes and ring me back.

10 minutes later she rang me back to say yes she can see that 450cc and 485cc responsive’s had been ordered for me.

once again I was satisfied that all was in order.

I arrive at Highgate hospital at 6:40am I’m taken to my room at 7am (the room was huge, had 3 chairs to wardrobes a desk and the bed) 7:30am Mr c came in went over the size with me marked me up then left. next came in the antithesis he asked me a few medical questions and told me I was second on the list to go down. then the nurse measured me up for my sexy stockings lol took my weight and hight.

9am Mr c came in to tell me my implants were not there, they had only sent 460cc CUI. he said if I was happy with having the Cui he could take me straight down.

HELL NO I WAS NOT HAPPY HAVING 460 CUI, I had paid for the responsive for the lifetime guarantee and because there is less chance of rippling and besides that I wanted 485cc.

Mr C was great he said if I was happy to wait a few hours he would get it sorted.

At this point I’m really pee’d off and start this thread.

when 5 minutes later Mr c comes in to tell me that he has been told I haven’t paid for an upgrade. I was livid! (still haven’t been told who told him this).

I show mr c the proof that I have paid for an upgrade and he says he will go and sort it out.

this is when I ring mya myself to find out what the hell is going on. my pc says she will ring me back.

anyway she rings me back all happy as if this is nothing. there is a slight delay on your implants but don’t worry they will be there.

ME- what do you mean slight delay!!

PC – don’t worry you will have your op today there is just a slight delay on your implants.

ME- WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY SLIGHT DELAY!! were are my implants? were are they coming from? how long till they get here? and why was mr c told that I hadn’t paid for an upgrade?

Pc- there has never been an issues with payment don’t worry you will have your op today. sorry i cant tell you were or when your implants will be there I dont have that information.

Me- well that isn’t good enough!

pc- ill get someone from head office to ring you.

me- ok can you ask them to ring me asap please. thank you

NO PHONE CALL

ME-(RINGING PC) Can I have head office number please no one has rang me.

Pc – ok wait a minute(she then puts me on hold for 6 minutes I rang up)

PHONE CALL FROM HEAD OFFICE

slight delay your implants are on there way from london they will b with you by 11:30am

Me- what is this slight delay???

head office- I don’t know what it is but don’t worry your implants will be there by 11:30 and ill look into the rest.

Me- ok thank you.

mind at rest once again that op is going ahead put by now really stressed and THIRSTY!

phone call to my room from Mr c – your 450cc implants were not in stock so ive ordered extra high profiles instead just in case we cant fit the 485cc hight profile responsive.

I get of the phone and start to cry I trust Mr c put all this now is really upsetting me. AND I SUFFER with asthma was worrying about having an asthma attack too now.

I get back on the phone to head office and ask them why they had told me MY IMPLANTS were on there way when MY IMPLANTS were not as there are out of stock!! she told me she would look into this.

ME- there is nothing to look in to, if the implants are not in stock I obviously cant have them. crying and distressed I come of the phone.

At 1pm nurse comes in to get me.

Anyway to cut a really really long story short. have op Mr c manages to give me 485 responsive’s and I’m healing well. AS FOR MYA THEY NEVER ADMITTED THEY MESSED UP ( THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SLIGHT DELAY!!) AND 3 DAYS LATER STILL HAVEN’T BEEN IN TOUCH WITH ME ABOUT THE WHOLE ORDEAL. I’M VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I have paid all this money for.

god that is awful! im so sorry uv gone though that, atleast u have ur boobies but that is soo bad! theres so many bad comments about mya lately i think they really need to sort it out.. x

I can tell from reading your post how upset and stressed you have been,I really hope that someone can give you some answers,this really does need addressing it is letting the company down badly.Try to relax honey you have your beautiful new boobies and hopefully from your feedback,this situation can be avoided in the future,for other MYA patients,happy healing honey,xxx

I really think its down to which clinic you go to and who your pc is. Glasgow seam to be doing things write from what I’ve been reading. I really do hope that mya sort out all these problems to stop anyone else going through it. pc should be paid on commission for the service they give I think. I was trying to get hold of mine for over a week be for I had a letter to tell me she had left.

Kristina i know this wont make u feel better but between 410 and 380 there is only 0.1cm diff in projection and 0.3 diff in diameter meaning 410 would not have looked much bigger than 380 xx

reading all these.i now wonder if im being fobbed off i think mine look smaller than 380 so im now wondering if i have 340!!!

hope u get it all sorted! It seems some clinics really need to buck up!! luckily ive never had any problems with newcastle clinic they have been fab! Maybe other pcs need to go to newcastle and watch julie nicholson and.be tutored in customer care by her! before they loose mya patients xxx

Alli i have no booklet, just a few pieces of paper where mr t has wrote on them and two cards saying 380 L 380 R, these came off the box of me implants xx

U should have a booklet with a sticker on the front with ure name, surgeon etc and inside is basically the info that comes with ure implants and then at the back is a page where again ure name etc is and a card for the left and right. U should have it!? Its basically if u ever have problems u have this to show so it can be sorted and if a GP etc or health professional needs info . So sorry to hear ure story, that’s terrible xxxxx

annoyed cos i contacted my clinic after op and said i had nothing bar the bits of paper i signed pre op and bit of cardboard with the implants on and they said thats all i get! xx

Hi hunni so sorry to hear this!

I cannot fault MYA’s surgeons and nurses as they are excellant but

their customer service is nothing to be desired!

We are paying customers and they are all nicey nicey before you put a penny down

then they just take ya money and move on to the next customer.

STILL NO PHONE CALL OR ANY THING FROM MYA. REALLY DON’T THINK THEY CARE AFTER YOU HAVE HAD PROCEDURE DONE.I want 2 other procedures done to, I WILL NOT BE GOING WITH MYA AFTER THIS.
