Really scared of the needle!! 2days to go!!

hey hun thats what i thought it was called just didnt want 2 say it incase i got it confused with another 1 hehe. I work at a hospital and we call it baby cream so im used to calling it that haha think i might have gotten some strange looks if i refered to it as that though. Thanks 4 ur help :o) xxx

i expected the cannula for my ba as i read many stories and was mentally prepared for it but what they done is put me on a drip with fluids to avoid dehydration and i received my general anastethic via a mask in my face…not bad at all, 1st it made me cough but the 2nd attempt worked well i am 3 days post op

what the heck is loveyourlook ill have 2 go have a peak now hehehe…. Dont forget to take lots of before pictures i know it sounds daft and u prob think u will want to forget what ur boobs look like now but trust me u will want 2 look back some time in the future!!! xxx

hey millie im scaaaaaaaaared haha i just keep thinking this time tomorrow and it will all be over with!!!. My admission time is 7.30 i think im 3rd on the list or something so should go to theatre about 11ish so will prob be asleep when u arrive. 410cc should be a good size im sure you will be happy :o). Dont think im going 2 beable to sleep either and iv got to be up at 6 arghhhhhhhhh haha!! My fiance thinks its great cause hes got a day of work to come with me hehe. hes taking me to krispy cremes tonight to keep me occupied so i crnt worry to much!!! Im so excited though, crnt wait 2 c u there xxx

Omgosh, it’s tomorrow!! I feel sick!! My admission time is at 12pm, what time is yours?
Worried that I wont think 410cc will be big enough, awful thoughts about waking up and thinking they’re too small!! Eeek!! This time tomorrow I will have boobs!!
Can’t believe it’s actually happening!! Bet I won’t be able to sleep tonight, i am soo excited!! Going to make the most of sleeping on my front, not going to happen for a long time lol!!

Hey Girls, Probably seems silly, but i’m not scared of the pain afterwards, just terrified of needles!! How big is the canula? Does it hurt and what does it feel like?
They’ve put on my notes that I want the magic cream, does this help alot? It’s the only thing i’m scared of!! Help!! xxx

dont know if it would help but the cream you are wanting is called emla cream just incase you wanted to know so you could ask for it. I am diabetic and have it on repeat prescription so i use it all the time they will tell you to put it on 20 mins before but i find if you can put it on at least 40 mins its fab stuff i swear by it

Millie do not worry im there with u hehe and feel exactly the same i to will be asking for the magic cream and trust me its ACCCCCCCCE u dont feel a thing the worst but is when the anaesthatist smacks ur hand haha. The cream freezes ur hand and u dont feel anything trust me. xxx

No, I was told by Mr Traynor not to wear a bra of any kind for six weeks!! It feels so strange not wearing one, especially now I’ve got some boobs to put in one lol xx

I’d like to be a dd!! Wishful thinking though possibly!! So do you have to wear the sports bra for about 6 weeks? No going out for me then !! Excited to go shopping for pretty bras that i can actually fill !! xx

The nurses are lovely hun and can’t do enough for you. I had 340cc unders and yes it does take longer to recover. Although maybe my age has got something to do with that!! (I’ve just turned 36 so I’m no spring chicken lol) I’m just about back to myself now – 18 days post op, but everyones healing time is different.
I’m hoping to end up a full c/small d. I’ve not been measured yet and I’m not to wear a bra for another 3 weeks so I don’t know what size I am. At a guess, I would say I’m a full c/small d. I was a very small 34a before, size 8/10
I would say you will end up at least dd hun, maybe bigger!! Its strange tho, cos someone can have the same stats and same size implants and procedure, but end up a completely different size as you :confused: what size are you wanting to be hun? xx

thats all i was worried aboutt too. im sat here now rubbing my hand thinking about it (i am that much of a wimp!) but it wasnt bad at all
i asked for the cream on my hand but the nurse never came to put it on before surgery!!!! grrrr
so when i got there the anaesthetist was going mental that i hadnt had it
he just sprayed some cold stuff on my hand to freeze it abit. idk if youve ever had a piercing but it was like that stuff [=
the nurse holds ur arm and you have to squeeze your hands a few times
then its jsut in, 2 seconds [= they tape it down, put the sleepy stuff in and your gone [=
when u wake up you dont even know its there
i ust didnt pick anything up with that hand because i didnt want to hurt it! haha
taking it out is fine too, just bleeds abit and you have a bruise for about a week

so dont worry [= you will anyway if youre anythinglike me
but when youre being taken down you just dont think about it
close your eyes and breathe in! and its over [=
you dont really have time to think about it

Yep, Manchester Lifestyle. Having unders which i hear are more painful. Going from a 32a with 410cc, size 10.. what size do you think i will end up as?
I’m only 18, look really young, worried i will get funny looks and things from the nurses!!

Which hospital are you going to hun? The reason I ask is because they are absolutely fantastic at the Manchester Lifestyle Hospital. I didn’t even feel a scratch when they put the canula in and that is a promise!!! Having the canul put in has really hurt and felt uncomfortable in the past, but you have nothing to be afraid off hun with these guys. Just think of them new boobies!! Your not in pain as such after your op, you just feel a bit uncomfortable and tight. Are you having unders or overs?

Don’t worry hun, you are going to be absolutely fine. You will soon realise that you have been worrying about nothing!!!
