really scared

i booked my ba and nip lift for 8 march last friday and ive been so excited but now im thinking that everythings going to go wrong.

Im currently taking anti depressants for low mood and have a couple of medical issues. Mya know about the medical problems but not the antidepressants, im sure they are going to cancel my op and im going to loose all my money. i know i am medically fit but im so scared my gp will say im not.

if your gp says you cant have the op can you get a refund for not being medically fit?

this is my main worry at the moment not to mention the actual op and the results. has anyone had their op cancelled before? xx

awww hun, try not to read to many of the negative posts on here! give your PC a call and advise her of your worries im sure she will be able to out your mind at rest! im sure your gp wont decline just because you take anti depressants! i know lots of people that have taken them and had a BA, its prob if you have it really badly the doc doesnt think you are fit but im sure you will be fine *big hugs* xx

Why dont you make an appointment with your GP to discuss this honey,your PC can emotionally reassure you not to worry but it is between your GP and the surgeon from what I have read on previous posts,and although the PCs try their best to reassure you as they know this is an emotional roller coaster for you,they tend to get all the flack if the op dose’nt go ahead,when really the final decision is out of their control.Re getting your money refunded Look at the terms and conditions in your patient information guide,it tells you all about it in there.Its the waiting that’s the worst honey,you just want to know.Massive hugs,XXX

Thanks tina, ive told my pc about the anti depressants now and she has spoken to the nurse and they dont think it will be a problem as she said lots of girls who have been on them have had a ba – it is a really low dosage too. I just hope my medical problem wont hold me back but i really dont think it should so finger crossed. cant wait to get the all clear so i can start looking forward to it xx
