Really Silly Questions…….But ……..

Hi, really silly questions but I have had my first consultation and am seeing surgeon this Thursday, all went well but I’ve been on this forum and here everyone talking about the implant being under or over – what does this mean? And also, what do the sizes mean when you say for instance 300cc or 525 what ever it is? What are the sizes …lol … Sorry to soyd dumb, I was not told anything about this x xxx x

Under means under the muscle and over is over the muxcle, you can get high profile and moderate and the 300 and 525 is the actual size of the implants, sorry im not too good at explaining all of this lol x

Hi there over/under is where the implant is placed over means over the muscle and under means the implant is placed behindvtge muscle your surgeon will say what’s best for you depending on how much breast tissue you have so don’t worry about that too much. The sizes of implants all come in cc so that’s the numbers people are taking about again your surgeon will recommend sizes when you go through what your expections are hope this helps xx

unders is under the muscle it is often done when you dont have much breast tissue it covers the implant a bit more and can sometimes give a more natural look, the implants is put under the tissue and the muscle. overs is when the implant is putover the muscle and under the tissue, some ppl say it gives a more fake look although not much more ( mine are and are very natural) if you are over an a cup the surgeon will usually do over i was only a large a and he did me overs. unders can be a bit more uncomfortable for a few days. the numbers is the amount of implant basically 300cc is what i had and that is the same as 300ml of water. The bigger the number islarger the implant your surgeon will recommend what size implant to go for xx

Thanks for your replies !!!! I get what you mean now, I think mine will be over because I’m already about a c/d cup but because I had my son a year ago they have lost their shape and are not as firm (the lady I see at the consultation does not think I will need an up lift but obviously the Surgeon will decide this for me) I want to go to about an E cup – what I was when I was more of a size 12, but I’m a size 10 now so lost all the weight on my boobs….. I’m going to research a bit more on over and under on the net………. I really can’t wait for my op !!! I so so want this done… Thanks ladies xxxx

if u dont have enuf breast tissue they place it under the muscle, u will see the implant sizes when u meet ur surgeon … he will show u a range of sizes depending on the size u r looking for x
