really starting to get scared

hey girls… i was laying awake for ages lastnight working myself up about my op, it will be 3 weeks on wed when i get it and im starting to get really scared, not about the the actual op but the needles in my hand just before it, and whether im guna like them when the op is done, pain etc…. think i need some reassurance ive wanted my boobs done for 15years and i dont wanna bottle it at the last minute xx

Lynz, i was the same regarding the needle in my hand prior to the op…the anethatist gave me a mask to breathe into beforehand which knocked me out after about 40 seconds…then he put the needle in whilst i was asleep…a lot of girls ask for this, it definately worked for me xx

awww don’t worry! try to keep yourself occupied doing other stuff and try not to think about it much, as soon as you get yourself through the doors most of your worrying will go away honestly, just gotta be brave! Just think I was able to do it! So you can do it too! your just as brave if not braver! Instead of lying awake worrying about it, put the TV on or something to take your mind off it and just fall asleep with your TV still on or something lol

It’ll all be fine! How crap would you feel if you backed-out?? HORRIBLE! so dont back out! lol xxxxx

xxjoxx– i will definately be asking about this on tuesday when i go for my pre op, u any idea wot the anestatist (sp) called the mask?, ive never had an operation before in my life so im scared of going into the unknown, i just want everything to be perfect.

i know bex… its just really daunting that its finally happening, im the biggest wuss ever and i keep thinkin omg omg omg lol im guna completely force myself to go whether i like ot or not, ive wanted this for so long and if i back out i will only regret it xx

YEAA!!! Go for it girl!! It’ll only make you stronger as a person too, I was shit-scared of needles when I went for my op but Iv had blood taken since the op and it was the only time I HAVNT cried when getting a needle in me since forever!

awwww lynz, you’ll be fine hunni, it is over with so quickly and before you know it you are waking up and looking down at fab boobies I had also waited 15 years for my ba, and so glad i went ahead. Just wished I had had them done earlier! Tammy x

thanx hun, i think its just the reality of having an actual operation lol i hate going to hospital at the best of times but i try to jus keep telling myself it will be so worth it, i really ont wanna bottle it but im just getting the nerves coming now lol xx

Know what you mean, although I had all 3 of my children in hospital, I had never had a GA or an operation before, so it was the unknown really. But Highgate is more like a hotel than a hospital and people there are not ill so its a different environment than a normal hospital hun x

bloody hell, 3 kids? tammy you MILF! lol!!! Yea Lynz when you go to Ross Hall it isnt boggin like a normal hospital, it has like green carpet everywhere, nice staircases, quite ambiant and calming rather than bright white evrywhere etc.

Not to mention you’ll be in the BEN CLUB! CHURCH OF CHEW!!! WOOP! STILL not heard a bad word about him to THIS date! He’s brilliant and all of the nurses are SOOO nice! You need to give them a pee sample in a horrible cardboard toilet pan first though! ewwwww!!!
