Really Upset & Disapointed ='(

Hey, as a few people will know, i had my BA on the 23rd of January..

i went with mario russo, i had one breast slightly bigger than the other, and at my consultations mario said by putting a smaller implant in that side it would make them look more even. we agreed on.

410 (L) / 380 (R).. OR 460 (L)/ 410 (R).

I Had two surgeon consultations with him telling him i wanted to go from A/B ish. to a D but ideally DD.. so he said on the day of the surgery he will see whether the 460 implant will fit in my left side.. i woke up after my op to see my implant cards where both 410’s.. left and right had 410cc’s..

So since before the op the size difference was noticeable, after the op i am petrified it will still be very noticeable!!.. i have a breastband on, and since my op ive been too scared to look at them… until today i finally decided to take the breastband off for a minute or so to have a look… the right one is HUGE Compared to the left and i am absolutely devasted, i dunno why hes put both 410 in both breasts, as we both new there was a difference is size that i wanted sorted out, that was the main reason i wanted the surgery . so now im just sitting round so depressed at this worried ive wasted all this money so the wrong result . i have my post op appointment at 2pm on monday, so will see the nurse but im just so dissapointed and upset , im hoping the right is still swollen and will go down n be perfect but i know thats not gunna happen …

gembol – sorry to hear you’re not happy hun. I can totally sympathise. I had two different size boobs pre-op as you can see in my pics. My Surgeon told me that it is not significant enough to warrant two different sized implants and I’m preying that my left still needs to drop, I’m over 3 weeks now as its the size of a football compared to my right. Im seeing my Surgeon today x

Can i add u please babe, i wanna have a look at yours.. mine are like hugely different.. i bent down so i could see them in the mirror and the right one looks alot bigger xxx

yep no probs hun, the post op ones I have up are from a week or so ago and the difference isn’t obvious there. I haven’t added recent pics, I’ve been really upset with them lately and going through a stage of not wanting to show people now. I started with next to nothing but what I did have was quite pert but these new boobs are 3 weeks old and already flop down to the sides when I lay down!! I didn’t even have big implants so don’t know why they are doing this x

sorry ur nt happy gemhol..so he put in 2 of the same size when u had agreed u needed 2 different sizes? have u questioned him about it?

mine go to the sides sooo bad when i lay down too missym not happy! fakies usually stay upright!

That’s awful hun, I don’t understand that. I’m also supposed to be having different size implants and am really nervous now in case it doesn’t happen How many weeks until your next appt with Mr Russo? xx

gemhol, im so sorry to hear this hun. this is very serious if he didnt do what was agreed, you really need to take this up with MYA chick… and the fact you never saw him after surgery i think is quite bad :S Hope you get it sorted xxx

yeahh .. im gunna give my pc a text now.. i hope he hasnt put the same size in by mistake. cause id be devasted if i have wasted all this money, and he probably should of came to see me after surgery since he put different implant sizes in i want a explanation. xxx

aw thankyou gemhol! mya should sort it for u dont worry, like hollyhotpants said if he didnt do what u both agreed and ur v unhappy with it all so he HAS to sort it. that is bad he didnt come in n check on u after too! x

Hi Hun, I had Mario too and I had two different size boobs (very common) and we too had spoken about different implants in each and I ended up having 375 in both and my size difference isnt half as noticeable as it was before. My right used to sit lower down and wasn’t as full as my left and now u can’t really tell. He is brilliant so try not to panic there mist be a reason.

That’s not to say though that he is naughty not coming to see you after and explaining this!!

I hope they can explain to u at your one week appointment

amy26 .. its quite noticable atm, but it could be cause of swelling. thanks for writing on this cause uve put me at ease quite a bit if yours isnt as bad now.. i just wish someone had of explained it to me cause im worrying like mad lol.. xxx

hun i had one boob bigger than other and i had 525 in both and you can still see one is bigger than the other….i was upset to begin with but i am used to them now and i think about what i had before .

mine go to the side too and that is one thing i do really hate i feel like i have to keep pushin it back up lol xx

i am really sorry to hear this gemhol, i hope they sort it out for you. he never came to see me after my op either. i think its common courtesy to speak to you have operated on after to tell them how it went, give reassurance & answer any questions! x

So sorry to hear this hun. If you had a size difference pre-op and Mario agreed that you needed different sized implants then this is negligent on his part!!

Pre-op I didn’t even realise I had 1 boob slightly bigger than the other but Mr T said they were and that this warranted a 30cc size difference.

Try not to worry too much yet as there might be a reason why he decided not to use 2 different sizes (he should have told you after your op). At least you’re seeing him soon and I really hope you get an explanation. Good Luck xx

i text my pc and she rung me and said maybe when mario made the insicions he decided the same cc size would be better for me, or maybe he took som breast tisue from the bigger one to make them more even, and to not worry until the swelling has gone down, i just wish he had of came in to speak to me after wards to save me worrying so much.. xxx

Sorry to hear you’re not happy hun. Have a look at my pics, mine were really wonky pre-op and even for a few weeks afterwards they still looked a different size and now im 6 weeks post op with Mario Russo and they are perfect! xxx

Sorry to hear this, hope there is a valid reason for this & they even out. Ask to get an explanation and dont wait around, it may put your mind at rest. Some one should have explained this to you after your surgery. Good Luck and keep us posted x

i had a call off my pc.. i just hope theres a reason to why mario did it, cause i tried the implants in the sports bra and everything and even he said at my consultations that putting different implant sizes should work better, i dont want different sized boobs, thats what i was tryin 2 fix.. ive got my post op on monday so i shall keep everyone updated, but if there is no reason why hes put the same size implant in and they are still really different in size, what can i do!? im really not happy and dont see why an explaination wasnt given as to why i had the same size implant. xx

I had noticably different sized boobs before my op last May, I had the same size implants put in and was also concerned because the smaller one took extra weeks to drop and settle down.

Now, there is minimal size difference between the two. They are very careful about ‘where’ they place them inside the pocket which can impact how big they look. Mine look 99% identical now, whereas there was almost a cup size difference before my op.

I’m sure there’s a reason, he wouldnt place the same size in each if he thought they would look odd afterwards hun, they will take a good few weeks to settle down too xx
