I’m 6 weeks post op (yesterday) and I think I have symmastia. I tried a balconette bra on that I bought and noticed it. I don’t know what to do, do I wait until my 12 week appointment or ring the clinic up and try and get seen earlier?

I’m not sure tbh, maybe, my surgeon pointed to my chest and said that would stay the same but didn’t specify that it was that so can’t be sure. X

Well if I were you I would book back in with your surgeon and ask for them to take a look.
Please try not to worry and concentrate on the positives . Let me know how u get on x

I range the emergency hotline and was told to ice it and take ibuprofen as it might be swelling and to make an appointment if it’s the same after a week, but I just know it is symmastia I’ve seen pictures online that look so similar x

Hey hun, I have had a look at your pics and I don’t think it looks like you have symmastia. In your progress pic it looks like your breasts were more swollen and closer then than your most reason picture at 6 weeks. Try not to panic and just give it time. I took ibuprofen for swelling constantly for the first week as mine were super swollen. xx

Hi hun now you got me worried. I find underwired bras so uncomfortable as my cleavage gap is that tight the wires press on the opposite sides boobs. It’s like there’s no room.
Keep me undated on what happens with you hun x

The lighting on those pictures don’t really do it justice if you know what I mean. The one below shows it really bad.

I had this op to fix assymetry and now this is happening I actually feel sick about it

My iPad just won’t show what I’m seeing lol it’s trying to make me look bad 🙁 lol

There is definite raising of the skin between my boobs that I can grab with my finger and my thumb x

Looked at your pics and I highly doubt its symmastia Hun. My cleavage is super swollen as well. Remember we had major surgery so lots of trauma.

But to put you’re mind at rest I’d make an appointment.

I’ve looked at other pictures and yours doesn’t look like you have it xx

@amy03 I’m 6 weeks post op hun. I have a feeling it is because I swear I remeber noticing a really slightly bit of it pre-op but I never took any pictures of my pre-op boobs because I hated them. I don’t think much can be done if I did have it pre-op. X
