Really worried about the finance situation- mya mod help?!

I’m so worried about this whole finance thing, I wa accepted and all the paper work is done but have read some of you girls are having problems and they are pulling out?! I don’t think I’ll get accepted by someone else and I really can’t be bothered with the hassle of trying again has anyone not had a phone call? I just wondered if they are pulling out of everyone that they have accepted or what?! Cos if they are going to pull out I would rather know now so I can sort something before my op on feb 17th! If anyone has any news or knows anything please help.. Am getting a bit worried! feel for you girls that have had the problems, hope you can get sorted!

Hi Jess, is your finance agreement with V12 or with first medical ?

If it is with V12 as long as your op falls within 90 days of you signing the contract you should be fine,

With v12, I only applied about a month ago I think, can’t actually remember cos my mum did it but should definitely be within 90 days! I really hope it’s okay cos I don’t know if I’ll be getting my boobies if not and that would be just a little bit rubbish! thank you for your help Hun! xx

Hi pammy! I’m hoping we’ll be okay if we haven’t heard anything? When is your op booked for? Mine falls within 90 days so hopefully they will stick to that, it’s really unfair to us and MYA if they pull out from people that have already been accepted! My pc hasn’t said anything like they might pull out, so fingers crossed it means we are okay! I really do hope so, going to be so gutted/annoyed if they do as been excited for so so long! xx

Mine is booked for march – i got accepted finance in Oct last year but didn’t actually sign agreement til a week ago. i don’t know if this has an effect on decision. really worried about it all actually its the last thing we all need on top of the worry about the surgery too. The guy i spoke with today was nice but couldn’t/ wouldn’t answer my questions as they themselves didn’t know what was going to be the outcome. i admire their honesty and what a tough call to make. when is your op? xx

Mine is 17th feb! And applied about a month ago I think! I thought we would have heard something by now as they pulled out a while ago now, well like a week or so but that’s enough time to let everyone know I think! I really am getting worried cos I only have 3 weeks and I haven’t got time to be applying for more finance, and if I get rejected (well my mum lol) then I won’t be able to go ahead with it I’ll I’ve saved! I’ve put £1500 down and making payments of £75 a month, it’s not fair on mya, but it’s more unfair on us cos we are the ones that get excited and have to go through the process all again! I’m probably going to go mad if they do pull out! Rant over! Haha! just don’t know if they’ve actually got any logic to who they are letting down or if they are picking names out of a hat or something! Lol xx

They r no long doing the V12 finance they rang me the other day I had to pay the full amount to secure my place for the 18th feb xx

Well I was suppose to have my op 21st january so I got accepted in November paid £400 deposit bit I couldn’t have my op on the 21st jan so had to change my op to the 18th feb I had a phone call of my PC saying really sorry but we are not doing the finace now so u need to pay full now but she said if I had the op on the 21st then I would of still had the finance so I think starting from this week they ain taking no more people on the V12 it’s all confusing to be honest she said tho they haven’t got another finance company yet so I’m bot sure!

Thats so rubbish! I know it’s not myas fault, they must be getting so annoyed! I just rang my PC and she said she had a list of people she had to call and I wasn’t on it, she said she would double check but shes pretty certain I’ll be alright! So fingers crossed! I’m only so worried as I know it will be ages if I need to pay in full and my mum took my finance, not sure if she would get accepted again! I’m so excited so just hope it’s all okay! I hope you get sorted Hun, V12 have let a lot of people down!! xx

Oh that’s ok then If ur sorted!! I thought u wouldn’t be if u haven’t had the op yet! My mam has to pay the full amount over the phone on Tuesday also they said to me we ain having V12 anymore and said they couldn’t refund me my £400 deposit :-0 it’s a cheek! X

That’s what I thought, but hopefully cos I was accepted about a month ago and then having the op within the 90 days I’ll be okay, that’s what my pc seemed to think too, but it all seems to be different to each person so I’m not sure! You’re lucky your mum will do that! we are in the process of moving house so my mum hasn’t got any spare cash at all, and because I’m not in full time work at the moment I wouldn’t be able to get any sort of credit! My mum took mine for me, but not sure if she would be accepted again as we were surprised she did in the first place! I would get on to them about your £400, they have no right to keep that whatsoever! That’s so bad of them! xx

I hope Hollie (my PC) is right, she said most people have been told this week and I wasn’t on her list so I assume I’ll be okay! She said if I don’t hear from her by the end of today then I’m all good, so fingers crossed I won’t hear from her, she said I’m okay though so I trust her word! Hehe! I’m going on my own, my mum can’t get the day off work, bf at uni, but staying at bf’s sister the night after cos she lives so close to the hospital! To be honest from bad experiences with Finace in the past not MYA, i’ve opted to get a bank loan – they approve same day and give u more flexibility with payments. I got my loan through HSBC and they’ve given me a really good deal xxx
