Recent announcement

I have read the recent announcement re Mr Russo and linked to a certain lady who was very active on this forum,most on the forum will have done the same,why is it that this lady who needs support now more than ever has been abandoned evicted from this site when she is clearly the victim of something quite serious for a surgeon to be suspended.

This lady conducted herself in such a dignified way helping hundreds of members.

By deleting and closing the threads you are putting her in danger,and inciting gossip on the forum.

This lady is a Mya patient I believe having had surgery with Mr Gonschior,yet she has no support now.

I think whilst making your announcements you should also let the community know that one of your moderators is a man,I am sure the girls on this forum would then have the option whether or not to him/her as a friend,afterall these are very personal pictures and i wouldnt like a man looking at mine nor would my partner

Anyone having surgery has the right to support through this forum,your staff should also make clear that they work for Mya when adding friends,no one likes to feel that they are been spied on.

No names have been mentioned in this thread as per forum guidelines,lets see if it gets deleted.Only Mr Russo which has been mentioned on the recent announcement

People should be entitled to their opinion and heard if this forum is not contrived.

let us see how long this thread stay,no mention of names only the name of the surgeon which has been mentioned in other threads.

This thread does not breech forum guideline so if deleted we will see how genuine this forum and the people running it are.

this is the reason that I hv decided to no longer be active…it´s all getting way too sneaky and underhand..to think that people may be spying on members post op and reporting them to MYA if they do anything that may affect their aftercare and mya employees possibly being “friends” of mine is not the reason I joined this forum..

the hypocrisy stinks! kicking off a certain member when she is still a mya client is unfair, and I thought that complaints were supposed to be “confidential”…sorry mya you have let yourself down big time and I for one am shocked.

With you on this, I never got a reply to my message to the mod asking why they had made a decision like this. They made an assumption that someone would act completely out of character and showed no impartiality at all, appearing to me to be taking sides. Clearly this forum is not there solely for helping out pre and post surgery girls. When I had my 6 wk checkup I was confronted with copied of posts I had put on the forum. I was totally embarrassed and humiliated, although the content wasn’t a contentious issue, it’s made me wonder about posting on here, and being able to give honest opinions at times. For all the good things MYA have done for me, they have let me down in other aspects of their service and behaviour. I had hoped to have more surgery with them but that’s not something I intend to do now. Like many others, MYA have let us down and I’m sure a lot of us wonder what else they would be capable of if they can do this to the person they have always acknowledged as the unofficial leader of this forum.

OH GREAT – I heard that there was two MOD’s one female Lisa and one male Shree…… Going to delete mod off my friends list.

2cuks thats what i have just done. this woman is still entitled to aftercare after 6 months no follow up appt, i am so glad i never went with mya my comany have been lovely. I walked into my app with my sureon and he pulls out this file and says to me ‘princess 76’! I was horrified, not only do the mods look at them but my surgeon had seen them too, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me

I haven’t had my surgery yet but one thing is for sure I will NOT be going with MYA….what a farce! I think it’s disgusting the things that have come to light regarding how this forum is run! All you ladies with pics up to try and help people have some male moderator with total access to them!

It makes me feel sick…it gonna take a lot for MYA to redeem themselves from all this….seems like the trust has gone completely! Won’t be long till this forum is closed….watch this space x

its a violation and a joke

Happened to me too! PC emailed me saying my post on here was ‘very upsetting’ to her! Dont give me reason to moan then! I purposely didnt name any names, just needed to vent on here as i cant vent about this kindof thing on ‘other social networking sites’ as my surgery is a secret to most people.

Its made me feel so uncomfortable and many times since ive stopped myself from posting on here as i know it will get back to them, when all i wanted was to talk to you girls!

Pissed off with mya. The way things are handled, Their/my pc’s communication, their organisation….i could go on! Now ive paid £7000 and all i feel is worry. i just KNOW i’ll get shit aftercare. Feeling so uncomfortable i just want to cry. 13 days to go….lucky for some!

When you sign up on forum you put your details on there, op date and surgeon as well, so when I asked about something post op I got a call from the nurse saying the mod had called them because they were worried and passed on my details, so they can track whose user name belongs to, youre never really anonymous on the Internet!

From posts on the forum.every comment is monitored.That is part of the moderators job.not sure how legal it is to pass that information on to another,but this is an open forum,the surgeon could have looked himself,but find it hard to believe that he has time to sit and look at all his patients here.

I was told all this months ago by a mya ex employee!! lol.

I think its disgusting that they delete things that may make MYA look bad, whats the point of a forum if you are not allowed an opinion!? Really glad I went with another company now! I have had numerous things deleted because they dont want others to read!!!

I dont get what the big fuss is about? This is now a legal matter between two parties and for the safety of the case they need to block out any outsider view. Making threads like this just stimulate gossip, theyre of no help to anyone, especially the lady in question. The internet is serious buisiness especially when it is bought into a legal case, its very easy to jepodise an outcome. Im pretty sure the lovely lady in question isnt kicking off as much as this

My PC knows what I have posted in emails so they must be able to see everything? x
