Recovery..

Dont think I can wait until my booked August date…am SERIOUSLY considering bringing it forward..only thing is if i go with the other date I have in mind (May), I will only have my man at home to look after me for the first 7/8 days or so after the op (he’s working abroad at the mo)..do you think this will be ok?xx

by the sounds of things you only really need someone there for the 1st week anyway by week 2 u shud at least be mobile enough to fend for yourself hehe… but everyones different and im 2 weeks away from my op so im not a good source really lol. are you having overs or unders?? xx

I only have 6 days off work lol and i will be home alone all those days.

I think its good to keep a little active but i will prob just sleep, eat and use the loo lol – still live with my parents so washing, ironing and dinner will be done for me at nights haha xx

well my fellas useless lol which is worse than having no one, i think you should be fine, do you have children? xx

Haha i think i am just being brave – al be in agony lol and a am honestly terrified because i needty go to the hospital and back on my own….noo lol but keeping a brave face the now !!x

ahh bless ya, it’s bloody terrifying at the thought of doing it sooner, omg lol but soooo want them done!!

My bf works away too… He left me on day 8. Im very up me own arse and have hoovered and everything and slowed me scars healing down. Long as u chillax and take it real easybu will be fine by the time he leaves im just a dick xx

They are healing really well, the nurse said they are knitted together and closed but look a lil raw at the end of my right one so to prevent infection i have steris on for a lil longer. She said ive over done it lol might have to hire a cleaner cos i hate dirty house hahaha… People heal at different rates and i need to accept that cos i keep crying thinking im never gonna heal. Xx

Awww chick i am sure u will b fine!! Just lie back and enjoy the excuse to do nothing haha. I have an exam the week after my surgery so i will be studying away hopefully :S but not getting out my bed haha xx

Unders take longer to heal, I had overs on Wednedsday, that same day i went to mcdonalds, thursday i done washing, and got my hair washed/straightened. Friday went shopping with hubby and washed my own hair, Saturday watched my son play football, sunday visited the mother. Monday washed my own hair. Tuesday out for a meal with the girlies(later whoop).

Im back to work friday too.

Fairy i hope i aint over done it. I feel fine tho, and luckily aint cried once.YET!!!!!
