    Hi girls,

I’m having my BA on Monday with Dr. Linda Fiumara for 225 / 240 MP unders (hopefully taking me to a 34B from a 32A) and wanted to ask what to expect during recovery.

What bras did people find best? I’ve ordered two different Marks and Spencer’s bras, a soft one for afterwards and then a sports bra for after the four weeks (both are zip up). Are you given a bra directly after surgery or will I need to put one on?

How comfortable was it too sleep? I have about 6 pillows to prop myself up on and planning on taking melotonin to help me drop off too.

When were you all able to start moving normally? I have a week off work, and hoping after 5 days I will be able to take the underground, wash my hair etc – did you find you needed more time to rest?

Also, was it difficult to cook or make a cup of tea?

Any other advice would be great! I have a lot of books and box sets to get through.

Hi Anna recovery is different for everyone, I am now 12dpo, I had 250cc HP unders and to be completely honest with you it was hard the first week I couldn’t do anything with my arms. It’s only the past 2 days where I feel that I can finally start to do more and more but i still get moments where they are abit sore.
I purchased the Mya bras (so comfy) and took them with me to the hospital and when I woke up I had it on (Surgean done it while I was under)
The sleeping upright I got used to it eventually (defo v pillow and neck pillow helped).
I took 2 weeks off work, I still need to take it easy making sure I don’t lift anything too heavy as it does pull on the muscles and the boobs feel tight.
All this said, I love my boobs and it’s defo worth it, just need to take it easy the first few weeks.
I hope this helps and good luck with your surgery and recovery 🙂 x
