Hi ladies. I’m booked in at Preston on the 16th Aug with dr traynor.
    Having 450 overs.
I’m super excited, a little nervous about going under anethestic however I’m more concerned about reconvert after. I have two kids 6 and 3 the youngest being needy and wanted cuddles and picking up, and I’m always up and about can’t sit still watching tv all day so I’m wondering how quickly did people start doing normal things round the house, I’ve been told not to hoover, iron ect
When could u lift your arms? And get yourself dressed?
When could u pick kids up?
Any feedback regarding recovery will be a big help. Thanks x

Hi Hun I’m 8 weeks post op from 600cc overs with mr traynor and I haven’t found my recovery all that hard I had no pain just a bit off pulling pain on my stitches the first week after that just a bit of nerve pain I’m I get nothing at all now I also have three 3 aged 11 7 and nearly 2 I had to recover on my own from day 3 and husband had to go back to work first couple of days I didn’t do much at all but after that i was pottering around the house doing my house work but being careful I was hooving again by day four just doing things slower and taking my time I started lifting my youngest son up after 2 weeks but being extra careful as they do say 6 weeks but obvs needs of a child I couldn’t do that and my nurse said it’s needs must when it comes to your children I could lift my arms about my head by day 2 aswell I think as a mum we cope well with looking after our children and trying to recover you will be fine Hun xxx
