Well we can I start?? Get a V pillow very comfortable for those early days, everything at low level as ya can’t lift ya arms above ya head, phone, drinks magazines to hand, dry shampoo to make you feel kind of human when sitting there with rank hair, get prepared for the half bath/ flannel wash it drives ya mad I’d of given anything for a deep bath, babywipes are also handy, get practising flushing the toilet with ya feet believe me ya don’t realise how many booby muscles ya use doing this also practise the rocking bum shuffle to get ya out of bed in the morning and when ya bandages come off be prepared to hang on to ya new boobs for dear life cus ya think they will fall out :-) promise you they won’t!! Its fun and games at the beginning first week the worse I found but then it DOES get better and ya new boobs feel part of you more and more each day xx Sam xx

Hi Sarah. Agree with all the above suggestions, Erm.. I would if possible book a couple of wash n blow dry appointments at the hairdressers. I used the dry shampoo but there’s only so much that can do. Take a bath robe with you. Me being a dumbass thought you get changed for theatre in theatre, nope you get changen your room and have to wear this hidious gown that is open at the back. Underneath you’ve got nothing on but the ‘hot’ paper niks!! thankfully I was provided with another gown to cover my backside. Lol.

Do a food shop before the day and get loads of snacks and easy ready meals. I really could not b arsed cooking. I’ve lived on micro pizza, fish finger sandwiches and take sways for almost a week.

Can’t really think of anything to add, sammy29 covered lots. When are you having yours? X

You ll need a hundred pillows. Put a tv in your bedroom. Get your toe nails painted so you have one part of your body you feel nice about;) get lots of music on to ur iPod as you’ll be so bored on the days you are resting. Lots of ibuprofen and paracetamol because the pain relief they give you might not agree. Expect to bloat and don’t worry too much that you won’t look v pretty for a week. Do all your housework and washing prior to op so u don’t feel depressed looking at a minky house.

Cheers girls! I think I’m going to the salon and shopping before I go to hospital then lol! I’m really worried about his pillow thing, I always sleep on my front with one pillow :S may put some practice in sleeping on my back haha!!

I thought I would have real trouble sleeping sat up as I usually sleep on my side, but it’s not actually that bad! What I would say is get a little travel neck pillow thingy, my neck killed for the first few days from where it flopped to the side!! Lol xx

I stayed overnight but at Preston, they were fantastic! Cannot fault them. I’m not sure about the wifi just phone and ask, it’s not a odd question lol. They say 7 days for driving but I’m 7days post op today and I don’t feel quite ready, yes you have to wear a sports bra day and night for the whole time! Lol. I can’t wait to get measured!! 5wks to go xx

Also be careful when you’re doped up not to do too much. You can think you re ok and pull or strain your stitches or your implants without realising if u are on pain killers. Easy mistake whn you are fed up and start hoovering :(
