I’m having my ba in November but am worried about recovery times

I’m having overs which I think is a slightly quicker recovery anyway, but I have a party to go to 11 days post op, and I have a training course 2 weeks post op, with a new job starting 5 weeks post op.

What is an expected recovery time for this op? And realistically how can I expect to be feeling this soon post op? I can’t put the training back and can’t risk losing the job, so I need to be able to get through training and starting work without any obvious pain, complications etc

    Thanks x

depends how physical the training course and your job will be i think. i havent had my BA yet but i’ve booked 10 days off work as i work in an office so wont be physically demanding by any means. check with your surgeon i would love xx

I had unders a week ago and I am 90% full health now – the only thing I’m not ready to do is drive but everything else about my normal day is fine xx

So did I! But I have no pain or anything, I’ve been out and about but still trying to take it steady I don’t want to make a mess of my scars – not doing any heavy lifting or stretching too far xx

Thanks girls, feel much happier now, forgot about the driving tho!!! I booked my party before my op as was supposed to have op much earlier, I am so short of time for everything but from the sounds of it the healing is much quicker than I though, so long as I take it easy! Thanks x x
