Regret?

Hey girls,

This is probably a little more difficult to answer, and I am not trying to stir anything up or cause problems.

I would just like to know if any one has regretted having a breast enlargement? Or knows anyone who has?

I have wanted this for so long, I am really excited about my consultations with MYA, but I was reading a post this morning on sofem and it was about a woman who totally regretted having her ba, she wanted the implants removed because they were so heavy and felt really unnatural when lying down, it was dated from 3 years ago, but it got me thinking… and although I still want to go through with mine, I still have that little niggling thought at the back of my mind.

Can any girls give me some reassurance?

And again I am not trying to cause problems, or make people feel bad etc, but I think it’s natural to worry?

Worrying is totally natural. Dont foget the bad stories but weigh them up in comparison to the good stories. Theres a handful of bad stories compared to an olympic sized pool full of good storys. Ul be fine xx

I love my new boobs:D that woman prob had to big a size for her body. Your surgeon will recommend what size he thinks as long as you tell him what shape and size you want too go.

I did panic the night before my BA and thought I must be mad to meddle with my body. I am now 14 days post op and cannot tell you how happy I am. My clothes fit better and I have curves! I am not massive (not officially measured yet!), but I am expecting to easily fill a C/D, my boobs look in proportion for my body sixe (size8-10).

Oh I got 340 unders MHP, previously 34a, they are really natural looking so really pleased. I am struggling to upload piccies at moment but will keep trying! x

I was a 32aa and had 340’s over. Im soooooo excited to find out what size im going to be. 8days post opp so still have to wait a wee while yet to find out.

Hi, dont worry . if you have realy thought this through and weighed up the pros and cons of BA then am sure you will be very happy with opp. Ive just had 525cc put in on tuesday 8 march from a size 32A and mine dont feel heavy or uncomfortable at all. In fact I am well suited with mine Mr Aurakzai has done a fantastic job for me. He would’nt of let me gone any bigger, he said they would of been too big for my frame, and i agree with him now. If you have a decent surgeon then they will advise you of the right size for you. what size are having put in and whos doing it ?

I am hoping to have Mr Singh, but haven’t had my consultation with him yet, just heard lots of good things about him. I also have a consultation with Mr Chantarasak tomorrow, so it all depends.

Currently a small 32B and hoping to measure at least a 32DD after the operation, but we’ll see, because I want them to sort of look natural but fake? If that makes any sense whatsoever? Lol

I have been told by another surgeon that I could have 460cc overs, but I suppose it all depends on what Mr C and Mr Singh say to me. I just don’t want them looking like two melons stuck on, I still want that natural slope but big lol.

I feel really stupid now fretting about bad stories I hear.. because I have heard so many more good things in comparison!

Donna… what are your stats if you don’t mind me asking? And did you tell Mr Aurakzai specifically the size/look you wanted before he suggested them?

I <3 mine they dont feel any heavier than before unless I run and get them bouncing lmao! Had to invest in a REALLY good/tight sports bra,Im actually a 34E but I bought a 32D so it would be tight and its really comfortable too which makes me end up looking about a B cup lol, got it for doing exercise as running just WASNT possible! lol Sleepings fine they dont feel heavy at all to me I still wear my looser post-op sports bras at night and Im 7 weeks post op, just because it makes me feel more secure.

Like most things there are pros and cons. We risk our lives everyday when we cross a road, drive a car, smoke, drink, fly on a plane, give birth etc etc and we never really think that much about it.

I think to go under the knife you have got to want to do it 100% and be happy about what you’re doing.

Thats why having the right person for the job is essential for me as I feel totally happy to be in my surgeons hands and I am nothing but excited

Ive gotta add, I only wish I had pondered over my tattoos as much as I did booking surgery, lol xx

Haha! Tattoos are a funny thing though… the idea is great at the time but after a few years, it’s whoops!

I love love love my second tattoo as it’s really well done and has a lot of meaning. But my first tattoo was just something pretty I wanted done because I had turned 18.. and now I really dislike it, especially after my second one! Lol.

Sorry I think I went slightly off track rambling about tattoos! Oops
