Removal of acrylic nails for operation?? Is it really necessary??

Hi Girls,
I just wondered if anyone didn’t bother removing their nails from surgery? I have had acrylic nails for many years and if I was to take them off my finger nails would be hurting as well as my breasts from BA lol.

Any help much appreciated, thank you xxx

Hey i havent had my ba yet but ive had another operation before and they need to see the colour of your nails during the surgery something to do with cirulation, Hope this helps! Xx

Lool thats ok! Yeah i know, i currently have shellac on, if i dont have anything on them i bite them! But i guess its all worth not having them to get boobs! Can always get them done again!Xx

@lana I just didn’t want sore finger nails as well as breasts lol. When I get my nails taken off for a new set they feel quite sore and I can’t do anything as I am used to having long nails. I am hoping i can just make them look plain as possible and keep them haha xx

You could try and get away with them being as clear as possible, just dont mention anything about it! Lol whens your op? Xx

Just make sure that they are clear if they need your sats they can put the probe on ya toes or your ear if worst comes to worst soak ya index finger off so u only have yo have one nails re done x

Yeh ive read the horror stories on here too! Mine is on thr 11th of feb so no backing out now, ive wanted boobs for so long now ive got my mind set on having it done so im hoping it goes smoothly for me when the time comes! Xx

Yeah you defo have to ! 100% they check something on your nails I don’t now what but they check before hand and eyelaShes. I was bare 🙁 haha x

I spoke to my surgeon and it’s not necessary at all. I had a different operation a few months ago and I didn’t need to for that either. It’s a very old fashioned way of checking your oxygen levels in your blood but there’s now machines to monitor it. Even my surgeon said its not necessary to take them off. I even had acrylic on my toes lol xx

I’ve just had my op yesterday I wore clear acrylics and nail varnish on toes extension in nobody said s word xx
