Rescheduling fee?

I am having a major crisis at the moment. My op is booked for the 28th of feb and as this was a very late booking I still have the balance

To pay (minus my £500 deposit). However, today my mum has been taken to hospital and she was meant to be coming with me to my daycase breast op. MYA also phones today saying they need the full balance to be paid by the end of the day. Here’s my problem..I now have no one to come with me to my surgery and simply can not afford the extra to do an overnight stay. I told my pc about my mum and that I was unsure if I could go ahead on the date planed. I was told the full balance would still need to be paid today or I would have to pay a rescheduling fee! Does anyone know how much this is? I can’t afford and don’t agree with having to pay a fee when I have no control over the situation. I really want to go ahead as planned but like I said I’m Stuck for someone to come with me xx
