Research !?!?!

Hi, I no this sounds silly but how much research did people do before they actually got there breasts done?!

Im 21 and have always wanted my breast done, I have looked a few times on the internet and MYA have always came up. I have been drawn in straight away. I like the fact they seem so friendly, they have a forum, twitter and instagram and you can talk and see people’s story’s. Everyone seems so happy and confident and i cant wait to feel like that 🙂

Im booked in to see the surgeon in Nov ( i no its a little while away) but sometimes i feel i haven’t looked into it enough, but If i could get it done tomorrow i would!

How many consultations did people have whether it be with MYA or not? What research did you carry out?
Obviously ive done some research, but how many others have just gone with there first choice?

I went for a consultation in sept n had them done in October … I didn’t do any research really stupidly had it in my head I knew exactly what I wanted n just went for it. I don’t have any major regrets but am looking at going bigger tho saying that I never got any stretch marks whereas I was told I probably would have when I mentioned my regret at a after care appointment so was maybe a good thing???

Think it’s wise to do research … This time I def will be seeing a few more surgeons as well as my last one … Just got too excited last time! Xxx

Clinics tell you very little about all the possible complications and I always found all places to be quite aloof when it came to recovery times, I have done YEARS or research, I still got complications, did loads more and then MYA helped me fix it! I didnt think about stretch marks until i saw someone post it on here lol – Grace who was your surgeon first time?

I spent way over a year researching and talking to girls on here.. and i saw my surgeon a few times but i would have had them done a lot sooner if things didnt get in the way

I spent nearly 2 years researching and have been to 2 different consultations elsewhere but as soon as I had my consultation at MYA I knew I wanted them done by them xx

no matter how much research i done it all boiled down to how much i wanted even after reading on this forum about unfortunate riplling and infections it didnt put me off because no matter wot i know for sure i would feel tonnes better with the surgery than how i have been feeling for years without it x
