Restarting the pill after surgery

How long do I have to wait? I’m 14 days post op tommorow, does anyone know if it ok to restart taking it? I’ve looked through all the information from mya and it doesn’t say anything about it, forgot to ask the nurse, d’oh.

It’s around 2 weeks they suggest xx

Oh should be fine then, just panicing. I’m moving about lots now and restart work tommorow so don’t think I’m at too high a risk of dvt now anyways. x

Is there any risks with having the contraception injection and DVT? No1 told me about stop taking the pill but I’m changing to the jag next week anyway… Xxxx

I *think* you’re ok with the injection cos its just progestorin (or something like that), its the oestrogen in the combined pill thats the problem. They told me at my pre-op about the pill so I’m sure they’d have mentioned it to you if it was a problem.

Aww prob cz I said I was changing they never mentioned it. Xxxx
