Hiya girls :)How long roughly would it take till you can go back to work after surgery? I wouldn’t be able to take a week off work, maybe only 3 or 4 days, would that be ok? my work doesn’t involve heavy lifting, just sitting at a desk most of the day…thankyou for reading xx

hey keeley! i only work in an office too. i had 2 weeks off and was so glad i did. there is no way i could have gone back sooner. you cant drive for a week anyway and for me even day 7 was a struggle just getting in and out of the car. i found days 2-4 the worst and didnt start feeling human again until at least day 10.

not everyone is the same but i think it is always wise to plan for the worst case. you pay so much for the ba, it would be silly to risk damaging them for work! x

awww really? Two weeks is way too long for me to take off work to be honest..I had a c-section when i had my daughter and was up and walking around like normal after 3 days, thought maybe this could work out similar :(

I had op on a Sunday and went back to work the following Monday so had 1 week off. I struggled getting the car in to reverse so driving was a nightmare. I too sit at a desk all day and at times I could have done with being at home. By the weds I was totally fine and back to normal. Days 3-4 were my worse so if I’m honest a week minimum your gonna need to recover especially if you have unders xx

I had my op last Wed and went back to work on Monday. I’d hoped to get in on Friday, but that was actually my worst day, and I was in bed all day very uncomfortable. Saturday I was up and about all day long, and was fine. Could have worked if I’d needed to for sure. Apparently unders are more painful, but that’s what I had. Guess we’re all different though, is hard to plan…. x

Well i think the most i could take off work is an extra two days.I work four days on and four days off so if i can get my op on the first day i have off work then i could stretch to another couple of days so i have 6 days off.My job involves me sitting at a computer desk all day so i wont be putting my body under any stress, but i drive to work….thats the only thing im going to be worried about doing.

Thankyou girlies for all your replies,i guess it does vary from person to person.

PS im having unders put in,want the natural look. xx
