Revision Surgery

Sadly I’m 6 months post op and my boobs are becoming increasingly unlevel (pictures attached). I’ve got an appointment tomorrow with my surgeon to confirm but he said from pictures it looks as if my implant has dropped below the pocket and will need revision to put it back in place. I’ve lost all fullness at the top. Has anyone else experienced this or been through revision surgery?

Hi, sorry not been through revision surgery so can’t help on that but mine look the same. I have an appt on Saturday. I just assumed my right breast hadn’t dropped but now wondering if it’s that my left one has dropped too much. Good luck with your appt tomorrow.

I’m 16 weeks post op, I didn’t get them done with mya. Do you know how long you have to wait before they
Can correct it (if needed?)

Yes mine are quite uneven! Just want my appt on Saturday so I know what the plan is. How did yours go? X

Yes he confirmed it was what he thought. The implant has just slipped down. So he’s filled in the forms for revision. Just hoping I get a date soon to have them fixed! Xx

Hi Holly. I had my first op in July 2019 and my right breast didn’t drop. I had revision surgery January 2020 and the problem was still not corrected. I’ve had such a battle to get this sorted without having to pay again and partly due to the pandemic. I’m booked in again for 9th June. I went under the muscle but I’m now having to go over, just hope they’ll still look natural as I don’t have much breast tissue.
I didn’t get mine done with MYA.

Hi, I had the same issue with my breast. I had my first surgery in 2019 and after breasts were in different directions. This was obvious soon after surgery. I had revision surgery several weeks ago and now my breast look different sizes and shapes 🙁 Not sure what the next step will be.

i’m having the same issue, i’m really worried about mine – do these look like they’re bottoming out? i can’t see my surgeon till august 🙁

Hi, I just had my revision surgery last week as my left breast had dropped too far. The surgeon said he has done the best he can and so far it seems ok! It took me a while to get it sorted.

Sorry I don’t have any answers for you but just wondered (I hope you don’t mind me asking) what size we’re you before and what size implant etc did you have? I have surgery booked 30th July but still wondering on sizes and whether I could end up with a similar issue x

Hi guys, just wondering how long it actually took you all to have reversional surgery?
I’ve been waiting 5 months now for a date and was told they would be in touch within 7 days to book me in for my surgery ASAP!!! Time frame was between 2 to 6 weeks at a maximum to of had it!!
I’ve been chasing them none stop and getting no where!!

I am going to go an see my surgeon on the 4th as i believe im going to need revision surgery Did any of you do revision and change the size of your implants and if so how much did you pay?
