Revision Surgery – Anybody Else???

Hey Ladies

I aint been on the forum for a while – so long time no speak x

Ive just had my revision surgery done with Dr Aurakzai last Tuesday at Cheshire (original surgery done back on 3rd November 2010 @ Manchester Lifestyle)

Just wondering if anybody has been through the same or having to go through the same and how they are feeling????

Hi Lottie. You’ve worried me with this post. What went wrong for you to have to have the surgery again? I notice you’ve had Aurakzai both times. x

I originally had my op back in Nov cz after breast feeding my son i ended up with 2 different size boobs. So ended up having a 380cc in my right and a 300cc in my left with an uplift (because the skin on that particular boob had streched so much). Dr A did advise i may need revision on that particular boob in the future depending on how the implant settled so i was prepared but obviously not for it to need it a few months down the line lol.

I went back to my local MYA clinic nd seen the nurse and they sent pics to Dr A for him to have a look and then i was booked in to see him. He agreed straight away and advised he would perform revision surgery on my left, would replace the 300cc with a 340cc and take more skin away and reposition the nipple. I had that done last tuesday, so im now 5 days post op again lol. got my check up on wednesday coming and cant wait to see what it looks like.

Please dont panic becasue these things can happen and like i say my boobs were in a mess to start with from pregnancy. Im just so glad i was covered by the guarantee and i have such a great and supportive surgeon

i had my surgery november 11th in manchester and im a little unhappy looking at them now, there not the size i wanted and they kind of have a funny shape.

did you have to pay for your revision surgery? im a bit upset that i paid all that money for me not to be happy with them out of a bra xxx
