Hi girls, I’ve always known something wasn’t quite right I’m almost 6 months post op I saw my surgeon last night, and he agreed and held his hands up my pockets are to close to the middle and not wide enough at the sides therefore causing my nipples to move outwards and I have uniboob. He is going to make the pocket slightly wider at the sides so my nipples recenter and put permanent sutures down my sternum that will be attached to my ribs, I believe this is quite rare. Just wondered had anyone had this done with the permanent sutures as he told me it will be very painful, hoping someone has had this so I know what to expect, any advice will be appreciated x

Hi Jamie, I really think you should approach the company this surgeon works for as I feel you should get at least one other opinion on this! Permanent sutures down your sternum rings alarm bells that this surgeon knows he screwed up but that anything he does to attempt to rectify it may fail hence the permanent sutures! I’m not a surgeon but I am a medical professional and what this surgeon intends to do concerns me. I’m sorry you are going through this but please do not just take his word for it as he is the one who made the mistake in the first place x x

Hey, I understand what you are saying, but I’ve done lots of research and had advice from 4 other surgeons, even before I saw him and unfortunately this is my best option, and the best way to prevent this coming back after revision is with permanent sutures to my ribs or it may reoccur, what I have is quiet rare unfortunately xx
