    :) good luck.

I’d recommend taking a bottle of water for journey home, I didn’t take one n nurses gave me a cup of water…kept spilling it everywhere…I was so thirsty after op n was constantly needing to drink. Also v shaped pillow will make you feel a lot more comfortable. Ppl recommend ice packs, arnica tablets/cream but I never used them xx

    How exciting, good for you!

Take throat sweets and lip balm as you are so dry from breathing through your mouth (worse part of the whole thing!)

Also, blow your nose before you go in as you won’t be able to after x

yeah thats true nothing worse than having a dry throat and craving a drink! Like when you wake up after a heavy night and crave a drink in the night eugh hate that lol. I havent got a cold but my rose has been a bit runny..this will be ok wont it? :S hope so!! xx

I’m most worried about the anaesthetic…never had one before and heard it’s horrible when you wake up?! I’m going down on my own and my boyfriend’s picking me up the next day so won’t have anyone to hold my hand ;-| Sure the nurses will be on hand though!

As for the recovery I’ve booked 2 weeks off work and then I’m on restricted duties for 2 weeks after that. Aslong as the bruising has gone I can put up with the swelling. Cast off day’s gonna be exciting!

Let me know how you get on honey xxx
