Rhinop – Sunglasses

How long til you can wear sunnies after a rhino? I lost all my paperwork and cant remember….

4months but id give it 5 i tried on mine as im 4months felt horrible lol x

too scared to wear mine and im 6 months post op ha x

Im exactly the same (5 months PO) – I dont even want to wear my reading glasses. I just hold them in place lol. I think it might be a psychological thing because you know what your nose has gone through. I asked Mr G a couple of weeks back and he said i was fine to wear glasses (so long as they werent super big/heavy).

WOW Im finding out so much on here, I didnt know you had to wait that long til you could wear sunglasses worth it though!! Are you happy with your rhino surgery?!? Im looking into getting mine done within the next few months xxx

I wore mine yesterday and it felt terrible, I would leave it till about month 6 or 7… x

I saw mr G on Friday and asked him this, he promised me (I actually made him promise lol) 100% that I can wear any glasses even big sunglasses after 4 months and your nose will be completely fine. But he said before 4 months he can’t promise it won’t damage my nose

I was promised that 2 months after my operation i would be ok to wear sunglasses that was from my PA though. Im off to spain. O worried now xx

Wow I never even thought about sunglasses my ops in may I was hoping to be going away in August looks like no sunglasses for me then! xx

My nurse said 3 months. I thought that was bad enough lol. Getting used to no specs but get jealous of my friends being able to wear them x

I’m over 3 months and it doesn’t feel nice, feels really heavy on the nose x

I wore them after 3 months, but they are very light weight glasses. If it doesn’t feel right don’t wear them x

Hi girls, saw Mr G today and asked about glasses and he said three months as long as they were lightweight, but sure your pc can advise as it could depend on the recovery x
