Rhinoplasty… Anyone know….?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone rememberes how long dr gonschoir says it’s best not to use saunas/steam rooms… I remember him

saying if you want swelling to go down quicker to avoid them but can’t remember how long for!

I’m nearly 12 weeks post op and really wanna start Bikram yoga again in a few weeks time but it’s the yoga that’s in a really hot humid room…

omg im having the same issue! i wanna start bikram yoga classes desperately but dont know how long to leave it before i start! xxxx

I’m dying to go back, but don’t wanna if its gonna affect my swelling or make it take longer!! It’s kind of the same as a sauna/steam room so trying to remember what dr g said!!

Tried looking through the paperwork to see if I had the info, but no can’t find it.

It might be best to check as the paperwork said I could start wearing glasses after 6 weeks but when I checked with Mr G he said 12 weeks!

Hi Layla i do remember asking Dr G if i could go on holiday to India and he totally warned me against going in to sauna’s or going away to a really warm country as this would effect the swelling and the healing process he also said to not touch the nose at all as this also interferes with healing and said to wait at least 7 months to go into sauna’s and steam rooms and a full 12 months to go away to India apparently it disturbs the healing process.
