Rhinoplasty – breathing and using nasal spray?

Hiya

I had my op on Monday and I was just wondering when people could breathe through their noses? I cant at all and wanted to know when I could expect to start? Also, does the nasal spray help with this? I’m a little scared to use it as I don’t want anything near my nose ?? Any advice would be much appreciated xxx

I’d like to kno this too! I can breathe a tiny bit though can you not at all? Did you have packs? I didn’t and my nose inside is all scabby xx

I could breath through one nostril after a few days…breathing through both was fine by the time I had the cast off. Nasel spray helps to break down the dried blood and stuff yes (Also helps the stitches to disolve), I was scared to use it too and didnt use it at all till at least day 5 xxx

I am 4 weeks post op and I still can’t breathe properly so I am back on the drops now. They do help, but I am counting the weeks until I can blow my nose again. xx

Yeah I had packs… And can’t breathe at all at the moment. I’ve got quite a lot of dried blood around my nostrils which is really annoying.
