Rhinoplasty help!!! Am I being stupid :(

I know this may sound like a ridiculous question and I know I’m only six days post op but today I woke up and felt totally fine, and this evening my nose has been throbbing loads and I can feel loads of pressure under the cast. I know I’m only six days post op but I kind of thought this might have stopped by now? I’ve had to take a lie down (sitting up right of course) I’m too scared to move or do anything now incase I set it off again! Has anyone else had throbbing during the duration of wearing the cast? I friggin hate this thing!!!!! Xx

i had really bad pressure/throbbing everyday its the cast i think where its on so tight! my throbbing and pressure stopped as soon as she took the cast off! but its all normal so dont worry. remember youv had a serious op done so of course its going to throb xxx

Yeah I know but inthink cos the past few days it calmed down and now it seems it’s flared back up again so dunno if I’ve over done it slightly! I bet my nose is well fat underneath the cast! Thanks Hun anywys for the reassurance xxx

i felt the same dont worry! if you feel fine and so does your nose dont rush about to do things or think you can do loads of things because itl all come back at you! take it easy even with my cast off i cant do certain things still xxx

I think its totally normal, even now (11 weeks post op) I sometimes get little pains/throbbing pains now and again xx Like Rinaule says…Take it easy xxx

It was the most throbbing I’ve had so far but after an ibuprofen it seems to be fine again! This is scary stuff all this nose malarkey lol!! Xx

Omg that is exactly like me! I’ve been so good last few days but literally been in bed all day today, feel terrible, nose feels swollen, cast tight, can feel loads of stuff in my nose I cant get it out, just generally felt ill was getting so worried was gonna call a nurse…looks Like I might be ok though? Glad your ok sofs! Xxx

I was the same! I wouldnt worry seriously, you think what hes done to your nose all that cutting and breaking and stuff its going to throb like mad! I did find when i was due to take mt tablets it would throb more as the last lot wore off, itl get better tho! I get funny shooting pains now but its all normal! Xxxx

Hey hallix, dont get rid of the ibuprofen and painkillers just yet! Lol I thought I wouldn’t need them but I had to take them last night! Yeah I was on the verge of calling the nurse too but I’m going in today, is there anything you would like me to ask her anyone??

i took mine for 7 days 3 times a day, at one point i took 2 of the ibuprofen by accident :l couldnt feel my nose atall haha xx
