I know you have to have the cast on for 12 days but did anyone go back to work sooner? I work in an office and am wondering whether it would be ok to have a week off then go in with the cast on.. but not sure if that is a good idea??

    Thanks

    xx

I think it depends how you think you’ll feel going into work with cast on and most likely still a little bruised and swollen. At week two I felt well enough to go to work (although, I felt absolutely fine but then when I was doing more, like cleaning etc I did get tired easily so maybe I felt ok because I wasn’t doing much) but I’m not sure I would have wanted colleagues to see me that soon. I have had two weeks off and I’ve been happy with that, despite it not being ideal with holiday pay etc x

I think 12 is the most i can have off… but kind of want to go back sooner but dont think its gonna be acceptable to sit in the office with the cast on my face… Ill just have to book the 12 off and see how i feel at the time..

    thanks girls
