Rhinoplasty post-op help needed please…

Hey everyone,

Has anyone who’s had their cast taken off noticed that their skin is literally awful! Have been putting anti-septic cream to dry and sort the dryness. Has anyone got any tips? Has anyone’s skin recovered and how long did it take?

This of course is the tiniest price to pay for having a new nose

I have just had my cast taken off today. My skin has gone more greasy than dry and gone a tiny bit spotty on top of my nose. I never get spots so this feels very weird.

How long have you had the cast off for?

Hey Georgia, I had my cast taken off on Monday and for the first day mine was really greasy but from about day 2 it’s gone really dry. I guess this is only day 4 so it might get better next week maybe.x

Hey Girls, mine is still a bit dry 3 weeks post op looks a bit shiny but is really dry.. I’ve been putting loads of moisturiser on before I go to sleep like dont rub it in just leave it on that helps a bit … But yes is deff a small price to pay for a lovely new nose xxx

I’m exactly the same girls, I’ve got really spotty and I’ve never suffered with spots plus got a very dry nose. Have just been putting moisturiser on as gently as i can and am starting to see an improvement…..albeit a slow one……………….

Bet you girls look amazing,cant wait to have mine done,xxx
