So my op is a few days away and I am ridiculously excited about it but the last few days I’ve felt this little bit of sadness and I can’t put my finger on it. It kind of feels like how I would expect to feel if I was moving to the other side of the world. Excited about going but sad to be leaving my friends and family behind….
It’s not nerves and I’m not scared or worried, I don’t know what it is…weird I know.
Just can’t shake it though and it’s annoying me. I need to give myself a slap and pull myself together….x

Your new nose will be worth it darling, it’s just because its different and we’re all a little scared of the unknown. We get comfortable, so it’s completely natural xxx

Hey @sillymilly3 I am still feeling really good. Still no painkillers required and up and about as normal. Little stiff if I sit too long but that goes once I’m moving agin 🙂 So unbelievably happy, but secretly think I might have a touch of boob greed haha x

Thank you girls, you’ve all chirped me up. This forum is a great place for support and advice. I think it is a bit of a saying goodbye to my old life thing and a bit of the unknown, if that makes sense. @Amy how are you healing? Did you have open or closed rhino?
@sillymilly3 boobs are next on my list :o)
    xx

totally get what you mean, im a couple of weeks till my op and im feeling the same! theres something there but can’t but your finger on it. like the girls have said its big changes, and for a woman a change to their body is massive. the sadness i guess comes from the fact that were going through the op because we’re not happy with what we’ve got at the moment and what were putting ourselves through to try to get what we want. your letting go of something which is you i suppose and thats your current boobs. because once they’re gone, they’re not gonna look the same ever. quite deep haha but trying to put it into words. ive got a sneaky feeling though that once its done, we’ll never look back 😉 xx
