right girls! i am 11 days po…can i have a shower?

i havent been told i can yet but honestly it is driving me MAD! HELP!!!! I have the little steri strips on still. Or should i wait to be told i can.

I think you should wait incace u get infected have a shallow bath and go to the hairdressers for a hair wash xx

I’m okay washing my hair. I just want a proper scrub everywhere haha x

have you not had ur 7 day or 10 day check yet?? at my 10 day check i had dressings and stitches removed an replaced with new steri strips an nurse said i can shower an have to remove the strips in exactly 7 days after my check, not a day less or a day more. i was allowed to shower with them on just no baths or soap directly on strips. if u havent been told this u should ring ur nurse an check xx

Ha, I wasn’t allowed to shower properly until the grand total of 5 weeks!!! Nightmare. But I still did shallow baths and awkward half showers up til then. Felt so good getting my first proper one!! xx

I was told at my 7day check I could shower now she’d removed my dressings and put a steri strip on my incisions but to only use non perfumed wash- using baby stuff xx

I have had my 7 day check and i have my 2 week one on thursday.

I have steri strips on which is sticking pretty damn well.

Bathy – 5 WEEKS!!!! WHAT ON EARTH!!! how did you cope?

I have had half showers and had a flannel wash under my pits and that but its just not the same. I’m going to ring up because this is nottt on lol x
