Right incision pain after 4 weeks?

Think I may have over done things yesterday as today my right incision is hurting me a little, im 4 weeks post op is this normal?

just take it easy for a few days now if you think you’ve pulled it or over done things. aslong as you havnt pulled the actual scar then you should be fine, just give it time. i pulled mine slightly reaching for something in the back of my car and it was sore for about 2 days but was fine after that. i wouldnt worry, however if you are concerned then give your nurse a call

Not too concerned as my Husband checked my scars and they are still ok but I have a 17 month old who is poorly and she just wants me to lift and cuddle her all day so its difficult not to but just being carefull as I was told not to lift till six weeks but what else can I do with such a little one who needs me right now cant keep putting on everyone else as they are all so busy.

yeah i was in the same position as you, when i had my operation my son was 13 months and it was very hard, i needed alot of help but aslong as your careful and only lift her when you need to then you should be fine you can always ice your boobs if they get a bit sore too? i found the numbing helped and dont be worried about taking pain killers – thats what they are for right now!! xx
