RIPPLING- 11 days PO and my boob has rippling- PLEASE HELP!

I am 11 days PO, and my left breast is more swollen and heavy that the right, but over the last two days it has also started to ripple on the top of it.

Has anyone else had this? Is it normal at this stage in the healing process? and will it go away?

I would be so unhappy if it stays like this. Especially as I went for the smaller size implant offered; as my surgeon said that it would be a great size on me and it wouldn’t show or ripple.

Hey hun im really not sure if the ripplin is normal but what other po girls av said is that to av one boob more swollen and heavey that the other is normal as they heal at different speeds.

Is the ripplin in both breasts or just the one that is more swollen? xx

i think ive felt rippling. what size did you have and did you go over or under? x

i got rippling forestbabe, mine kicked in around the 8 weeks mark, never visible but i could feel it when i bent over, i have to say its improved now im 12 weeks and cant feel it as much, but because i cant see it, it never bothered me anyway xx

I can’t feel it. I can visibly see it no matter how i am standing; in the upper part of my left breast; it looks like ridges- like when you pinch and hold up a water balloon.

I have 340 cc hp responsive overs (subfascial). xXx

well mine has got better as the weeks have gone on and have learnt from several forums thats the case with alot of people i would give it time to settle and see how it goes, if your still not happy at your 6 week post opp, let the surgeonn no, as you are covered for a re opp if you have rippling xx

If its in the boob that is more swollen are you sure its not just fluid still from the op, i have slight rippling under my arms when i bend over, i can’t see it though, you would think if it was rippling it would be in the boob thats more settled.?? xx

hmm… i hope you are right. That would be nice if it is fluid. Though the swelling was just swelling until now, and now that the strapping has been removed, and the swelling seems to be going down a little, these definitely look like ridges… they have a distinct look and touch to them.

well i hope it sorts itself out for you but if it helps i had lots of lumps, bumps etc… all down to swelling, and there nice now. xx

yeah your only 11 days po, theyl be doing all sorts of things!! let them settle bit more, surgeon normally says anythin from 6weeks-6months x
