rippling?

Can somebody please explain exactly what it is please? I’m a bit unsure of what it is xxx

I believe its when your skin is tight and stretched over the implant and you can see little ripples in the skin. this is why surgeons wont want to go bigger than you can manage.

I had overs so upgraded to soft touch as they are firmer than responsives and less likely to ripple hope this helps x

It very rarely happens ladies and only slightly if it does,lots of members have posted they have rippling they can feel it but cant see it,and again very slight,lots of things can cause rippling and your surgeon will have discussed this with you,most of them recommend sizes so that you have less chance of rippling, but if you push for a bigger size this is something you risk,also now the new implants on offer are designed to give you less chance of rippling too,it also depends on the placement too.But rippling is a risk you take when having breast augmentation,does the company re op for rippling I should imagine not,but this is something you need to ask you PC,and if she says yes then you want it in writing before you leave the clinic. xxx

Just like CC, ripling is a possible negative side effect to BA. I was warned about it pre-op. I think there’s more chance of it happening with bigger implants/overs/not much tissue on your chest, but I’ve heard girls say they have it with small implants too.Just one of those things. x

Rippling defnitely isnt covered. Theres nothing that can really be done about it apart from changing placement of implant, gaining weight or getting smaller implants. xx

I only had small implants but also upgraded to soft touch as worried about rippling, I’m 8 weeks an got rippling from day 4/5 its just getting worse not better. Inside an tops of boobs feel like draining boards. My left nipple keeps migrating more to the side, also boobs just keep shrinking, cant see much difference to what I had before anymore. Surgeon has said there is nothing wrong with them so I’m just trying to forget I had them done! Best advice I can offer all you pre-op girls, if you dont feel you have enough tissue then request unders. My Surgeon assured me twice I have enough tissue and I keot saying I would prefer unders but in the end went with his advice an now have a draining board along the top and down the top part of my sides and having unders would have prevented this!!

I’m having 450 moderate profile from a 34d but really want to ask for 500, but surgeon originally recommended 400 though so already made him increase by one size, I don’t know if two sizes is pushing it, really scared now though, do you have any pics of your rippling? xxx

I think i have rippling in 2 areas of my right boob, have 340 UNDERS so it can happen with unders too can push in the implant n it pops back out again, fortunetly u cant c it but i kno its there extreamly annoying xx
