rippling :(

hi ladies,

i had my boobs done in nov and i have noticed in the last 2-3 weeks rippling, its on the top of my right boob, you cant see it with a bra on but when i take my bra off i’d say it is slightly visable, its just bugging me abit as you spend all that money and pain etc and you just dont know what they’ll look like after.
dont get me wrong, they look fab but my left one is perfect, like i said, just slightly annoying!! lol

Anyone else had this and is there anything you can do to help etc

what is rippling??

Louise you need to speak to your nurse! If it is rippling there is a chance that you can massage it out. Call up and see what they say. Keep us posted.

oh no long journey ahead! Better getting it checked out though.

called them, she said to ‘pop’ down, i’ll have to wait untill i’m in london and tie it all together as its abit of a drive!
i’m a size 8 and she said it could be because of that but if i was to put on weight it doesnt mean it will go to my boobs!
i know there still changing so maybe i’ll wait abit longer and see how it goes . . . . xx

Did you have your implants under the muscle or over?? rippling is mainly caused if over the muscle…

it wont have anything to do with your size. all depends on how the op was done. this is what i was told by the my surgeon at the consultation. if you lose loads of weight it might affect the boob area but not much if you have had the implant behind the muscle.

see if you can speak to your surgeon over the phone rather than drive down and be told the same thing.

you should be under ‘warranty’ still (5 years) so see if they can sort it out…

Yes they were over the muscle, when i was pregnant i went from a C to a DD so the breast tissue was there. i havn’t lost or gained any weight since my op in Nov so cant be that, also its strange that its only my right boob, my left is perfect.

i think i’ll leave it a couple of weeks and see if they ‘change’ anymore as i only noticed the rippling/wrinkling 2-3 weeks ago.
