I have very little breast tissue in the lower part of my boobs. Particularly on the outsides, so my surgeon said the possibility of rippling with me is quite high. He has offered me fat transfer which should hide any potential problems… this could be done at the time of the op or later… and i can’t decide!
So i just wanted to know if any of the girls who had very little tissue have had any problems? Or anyone with visible/palpable rippling?
I would really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience x
I have a little around the sides of my boobs but I can only feel when I lean over, you can see it a tiny bit when I’m leant over too but it doesn’t bother me at all as its not visible when I’m stood normally.
I was an empty 34B and had 470’s under the muscle with a nipple lift xx
same as gina when i lost a stone i had a lil around the sounds but u can only see it when i lean over, but i put weight back on n its gone lol x
Hi davvy1 I’m pre surgery currently but my surgeon told me I would be prone to rippling due to the small volume of tissue I had in lower part of breast he told me that opting for the soft touch implants that are £461 extra cost would reduce the
Chances and effects of rippling my surgeon didnt offer me anything else I have opted for these as they have a greater fill (95%) and obviously if it reduces the risk then I think it’s worth it!
Hope that helps xxx
i had very little breast tissue, and i had 460 overs, i had rippling i NEVER seen it only occationally felt it, it never effected how my boobs looked at all, and it was so unnoticable my bf could never feel it even when i could, now im 15 months po is non existent, its diapeared all together, so even if you do get it, it seems to get better as the months go on, big boobs V rippling, big boobs win hands down to me with ripppling or not xx
hi ya i have rippling when i bend forward i had little breast tissure ,it not noticeable to the naked eye i only can feel it when i lean forward does not bother me tho xxx
This is the thing- it would only bother me if it was obvious. If it is barely visible only when you lean forward then i could deal with that… thanks for the replies
Has anyone had it very noticeably?
I don’t know how it works with ba’s but I know fat transfers aren’t always successful as your body can reabsorb the fat. If there’s a chance of rippling this can be reduced by the type of implant you have (soft touch are better to reduce the risk of rippling) or have the implant under the muscle instead of over. Have you spoken with your surgeon about these options?
Yeah it the under/over placement wouldn’t really affect it with me, as it is around the bottom/outside where i have very little tissue, and the muscle wouldn’t cover this part of the implant anyway.
I’m going to chat with the surgeon again about the different implant types…
He thought there would be about a 70-80% fat survival.
I had my first BA 9yrs ago, I had 380’s from a 32b and I had slight rippling when I lent over. The past year or so the rippling was quite noticeable across the top too but only when I didn’t av a bra on. This is one of the reasons why I’ve just had them redone, the rippling was worse even tho I’ve put weight on and my boobs were a cup size bigger than when i first got them done. I’m now 12 days po and had 560 soft touch and there is no rippling at all so far
