Hey ladies
I am now 5 weeks post op. Feeling good, healing really well. They look so natural. Only thing is in the last 2 or 3 days I can feel really pronounced rippling on the clevage side of my left boob!! It’s very noticiable to feel, about 4 ridges along the clevage. Haven’t got it at all on the other one though and I had unders (which I thought were less likely to ripple). I really hope it’s not permenant, but have a feeling it’s unlikely to go away? Anyone else had this? Thinking it’s just one of the prices to pay for bigger boobs!!
Any advice would be appreciated!

Mine’s EXACTLY the same – none on the right and i’m 5.5 weeks post op, gonna mention it at my post op as I keep wondering if it’s something I just have to ‘put up with’.. they’re meant to be perfect tho, I feel quite annoyed cos it’s gonna get worse, not better!!xx
Oh dear! Is your right boob slightly lower than the other? I hear that they drop at different rates (due to being right or left handed), I was hoping it might be due to the fact it hasn’t dropped much yet? Wishful thinking maybe! Feel really scared it’s gonna get worse too! Did you have unders? I’m not having my post op until Jan… when’s yours? I’m really disappointed this has happened, I really didn’t want rippling. Paid alot of money to have the perfect pair!! xx
I saw Mr Adamo today, i’m booked for April…….he told me rippling can happen with weight loss and if you don’t have enough flesh……he also said if this happens the best thing to do is to put on a bit of weight just so you have more skin hiding the implant….but talk to you consultant about it. I know some women don’t want to put weight on but that is one solution. xx
My rippled side (the left) is the one that’s dropped and a lot softer than the right. The skin was looser on that side before the op and still seems to be now – duno if that’s a factor?
Not sure whether it’s to do with which hand we use as I’m a bit ambidextrous, use my left hand for writing but right hand for pretty much everything else.. and tbh I don’t do much writing lol.
I had 410’s under with Mr Kazazzi, so like ya say the chance of rippling should’ve been less, apparentely.
Rachelrv, if that’s the case, they should’ve put in the size that fit our bodies, I could understand in a year or 2 when the weight may have changed a bit but not only 4/5 weeks later.

Aiya I had rippling when i first had mine done on both boobs on inside of cleavage but as they have softened all traces of rippling has gone and i’am now 10 weeks post op just have to see how it go’s but I couldnt see it going worse unless you were to lose weight just give them time xx Sam xx
At what stage did you have the rippling Sammy and when did it seem to go… which weeks??xx
Oh yay Sammy, that’s good to hear!
I only had 320s and went from a B cup, so along with having unders, I was really sure I had enough tissue coverage (and my surgeon agreed!), so thought I was at very low risk from rippling.
I really hope it is just a healing thing.
As Emily says, would be great to know at what week you noticed rippling, and at what stage it went??
It has appeared on my right boob since my first post, so I am scared it’s getting worse. Do you think massaging helps?
I know people say you shouldn’t freak out in the 1st few weeks, as they will change so much, but I feel so anxious!
Thanks for all your comments girls! xx
Mine is on both boobs in certain positions but far more obvious on my left – it’s slightly visible when I lean forward but worse to touch…looking forward to my post op on Monday and hopefully see if it’s ‘normal’.. ?? xx
Yes, it is definitely more noticible on my left too! Let me know how you get on Emily! xx
I noticed it very early on and was worried about it!! But hard to say when it disappeard I just noticed that as they got softer it was less and less visible and totally gone now:-) but thought I had it back other week but it was just the bra I was wearing had pushed them in to a funny shape honestly just give them time xx Sam xx
Oooops forgot to say that I don’t think massaging would help as rippling is because the skin is tight over the implant more common in overs as it’s just under the skin as opposed to unders where you’ve got extra cushioning from the muscle once ya muscles relax I think you’ll find it will help with it
that’s just my opinion Hun but it makes sence to me xxx
Hmm, bit baffled about it being where the skin is tight – they’re deffo not tight, I can still grab at my skin and pull it, I just hope it gets better soon and not worse, doing my head in!! xx
Hi Girls
I have rippling on my right boob.
This is my second BA and i had it with 300cc overs and now 445cc aswell.
Some days i dont notice it and others you can see it more.
I was warned about rippling on both ops. (I couldnt have unders as both surgeons said they wouldnt be suited for my breast shape/nipple position.) Mr Adamo said i should try and put on a bit more weight as ive had a larger size it may become more noticable but it was a risk i was willing ti take.
Theres no way to stop it happening unfortunatly but like i said sometimes weeks go by and i dont see it and other times its more noticable but ive just got used to it as they still look 100% better than before the op.
Its more noticable if im cold though.
But your only 5 weeks post op so they still have time to settle and skin the stretch. X
Well, went to my post-op today and the nurse said to speak with the surgeon at my next check (12 weeks)… gonna see how it goes and stop fretting as if I had a choice between the lil ripples and my old boobs i’d choose my lil twins hands down lol

Hello all
If you have any concerns about rippling or anything else please give your clinic nurse a call to discuss and book an appointment, they are the best people to get advice from.
Hope this helps!
