rly worried :(

Can any1 help iv been told to take my steri strips off now, which I have & my scars jus luk horrid iv had uplift implants & nipple correction. Iv took the strips off & thers loads of dry blood, bits that r weeping & also can see & fee stitches poking out! it rly scared me! Also 1 nipple is a total different shape 2 the other.. I’m soo upset with this! xx

how many days post op are you…. i wud giv ur nurse a call huni to get advise and put u at ease. xx

I’m 12 days post op! Jus rang the nurse & told me to come up tday but cnt get ther til tmro but didn’t give me any uva info.. Xx

Try not to worry too much,the nurse will sort everything out tomorrow,it always looks worse than what it is,I hated looking at mine with the stitches and dry blood,I worried myself sick ,they do get better,its amazing how they change in the next few weeks.And at least you will have peace of mind when you see the nurse,xxx big hugs

Aw hun I bet they#re not as bad as they look – it’s probably just the dried up blood making them look bad! Once that’s cleaned away they’ll probably be fine. Try to avoid touching them or cleaning them yourself til tomorrow, you don’t want to get any germs around the area x x

thanks girls.. shud i wear my macom or jus put a cotton vest on cos i feel like my macoms going to rub against them and ther stinging! shall i put my steri strips bk on? im goin to upload some pics soon so you can advise me but 1 nipples is definately a different shape im gutted!xx

How babe first off … Here’s a huge ((((hug)))) your body needs time to heal properly… Don’t to be hasty hunni … It’s only 12 days and that’s nothing!

Jasmine i felt exactly the same when i had my dressings taken off after my uplift, i was horrified – i looked like i had been butchered and ended up wearing steri strips much longer than i needed to…once the air gets to them they will start healing a lot quicker….i remember thinking there was no way they would ever heal but the DO…just try and be patient with them hun, its perfectly normal how they will be looking at this stage xx

when i had upplift before i cried for days i felt like such a fool for having it done i was so done and just blamed myself for being vain the scars looked like something from a horror film but as soneone said they heal really quickly and i didnt even notice them anymore i just had a breast redo and a nipple correction 1 week ago surgeon went over my old scars so im in same boat as u again but i can feel reassured that they will b ok in the end as they look pretty grim at the moment x x

aww thanks girls.. i havent stopped crying since i took the strips off! i can live with the horrible scars, knowing theyl heal but honestly one nipple is a total dif shape to the other! what can be done about this? do u know of any1 having corrective surgery after if thers a mistake been made? one boob luks great & the other is awful… too ashamed to even put the pics on here!xxx
