Im booked to have my implants in December and I’m just wondering if any other girls on here do a lot of running? I run every day about 5 miles and I’m just wondering if anyone has had any problems in doing it?? Breathing problems? Back problems etc?

I think i’m starting to get a bit nervous now and asking myself silly questions!!

Any help/advice would be much apprectiated :) thank you!

I’m guessing running is absolutly fine once you’ve healed enough and that would take longer with unders.

Nikki do have any problems with press ups/bench press or any weights that might involve your chest? What about anyone with unders?

hi roch no i dont have any problems, but chest exercises did take a little longer for me to be able to do than anything else, because your chest is tight for a while after, you just got ease into slowely bit at a time and dont over do it xx

Thanks hun, think I asked you about this when I first joined. It’s just one of my main concerns really, I understand it takes a little longer but as long as you can do everything like that once you’ve given yourself enough time to heal then it’s all good! xx

What would people say about having a BA in mid-May and starting to play netball again competitively at the end of September?? Do you think it would be enough time or would be pushing it a bit?

I think he told me 6 months cos ive had unders. I believe if i do too much chest exercises before then the muscle can distort the implant. I was gutted but nothing i can do now. Will have to change my whole exercise plan, and it was starting to work! :-(
