Im booked to have my implants in December and I’m just wondering if any other girls on here do a lot of running? I run every day about 5 miles and I’m just wondering if anyone has had any problems in doing it?? Breathing problems? Back problems etc?
I think i’m starting to get a bit nervous now and asking myself silly questions!!
Any help/advice would be much apprectiated
thank you!
I work out daily doing varies forms of exercise this including running, cycling aeobics, weights and all other sorts of stuff and I have not had a.problem doing anything just make sure u wear a good.sports bra.xx
Hey hun i do kick boxing, not really the same as running but we do do a lot of cardio and physilcal stuff, i train 4 times a week and im planning to go back as soon as and start of gentle and build myself up, it’s really gonna kill me having the 6 weeks out, but really gonna try and stay active as much as possible
I had my BA yesterday and i asked Mr Kazazzi about me as i do a lot of boxing at bootcamp. He said with unders i should not do boxing for 6 months so i am gutted!
Oh no thats not good at all, im having overs and i got told i can go back to training at 6 weeks but no sparring for a least 2 months so gonna leave it till after christmas to stay on the safe side, im having mine done wednesday
x
I went back to boxercise at 6 weeks po and I was fine, all other forms of exercise I started bk 3.5 weeks po but just took my time im had overs 8 months ago xx
Oh phew! So after a good few months everything should be fine then
just hoping that the impact of running won’t cause them any harm! Thanks girlies
xx
I’m guessing running is absolutly fine once you’ve healed enough and that would take longer with unders.
Nikki do have any problems with press ups/bench press or any weights that might involve your chest? What about anyone with unders?
hi roch no i dont have any problems, but chest exercises did take a little longer for me to be able to do than anything else, because your chest is tight for a while after, you just got ease into slowely bit at a time and dont over do it xx
Thanks hun, think I asked you about this when I first joined. It’s just one of my main concerns really, I understand it takes a little longer but as long as you can do everything like that once you’ve given yourself enough time to heal then it’s all good! xx
What would people say about having a BA in mid-May and starting to play netball again competitively at the end of September?? Do you think it would be enough time or would be pushing it a bit?
I think he told me 6 months cos ive had unders. I believe if i do too much chest exercises before then the muscle can distort the implant. I was gutted but nothing i can do now. Will have to change my whole exercise plan, and it was starting to work!
