Please could anyone tell me what the signs of a ruptured implant are? It would be good to hear from anyone who’s experienced it. I’m only 6 weeks PO and my surgeon has moved clinics so I can’t see him for my appointment :( Got one with the nurse tomorrow so hope she can help.

My boob has a few lumps which are near the top and go right into my armpit, quite big softish ones which move around when pushed – it’s not rippling because it’s right in my armpit. My boob is sore when I lift my arm, which is not normal for 6 weeks PO, I’m sure. And it’s a bit red in colour… It’s firmer and really high compared to the other implant – also a LOT smaller.

I had a few problems with a large fluid build up (which leaked a lot at about 3 weeks PO) and I have hematic hardness down the side near my drains – this is different to the lumpiness near my armpit and I have pain there, but again I can tell it’s a separate issue.

I have been so down about it, I keep crying and even regretting messing with my body. All I wanted was to feel confident and proud of my body, which I did up til the last week or so. HELP PLEASE!! :( :(

Hi Hun. I’ve jus had a re-aug from recently having pips and my right one had ruptured!!! The symptoms I had were pain in my boob and arm pit. I felt it lumpy at the bottom but didn’t have any redness….don’t want to worry u but redness…..lumpiness…..pain and swelling is signs of a rupture!!!! My boob dropped tho but my implant was a mess when my surgeon took it out. Hope everything goes ok for u tomorrow. Xx
