Saline or Silicone?

Hi girls, some of you may know that I’m already planning my next BA to get something between 1000 – 1500cc’s. I’m just wondering if anyone knows much about saline implants, they seem to be used a lot in America for larger sizes so I’m thinking of switching over but I’m not sure…something that really interests me is overfilling the implants to a desired cc size and obviously there isn’t that option with silicone. I know I’ve got a few months to wait before I can have a re op but I just don’t know what to do! Argh. I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about saline implants pleaseee

I don’t know much about saline but I think with the implant being so big tht silicone would be better. I wouldn’t like to think about what would happen if the implant ruptured and it was saline. X

Lool if it’s saline and it bursts then I think it just goes into your bloodstream and it can’t poison you…The main reason I want to get a revision is because I want that upper pole fullness that I have when I wear bra’s…as well as being bigger I also heard that with overfill they have much more projection/roundness which is what I would really like

For now it’s just a thought, I’m not 100% sure, I just want to explore every possible avenue xx

Saline is absorbed by your body if it ruptures it’s perfectly harmless mini. I’m not sure if many places offer saline implants though in the UK. Might be a challenge finding a surgeon who is on your wavelength but if you do good luck. I’ve read a load about women in America doing it too. Might be a good option for your skin though since you’re not waiting long between ops, won’t be overstretching as quickly. x

Surely having maybe 1500cc of saline being absorbed into your body can’t be a good thing?! And would it not like deflate? At least with silicone, if it ruptures the implant will keep its shape. X

Yeah that’s what I thought…I’m thinking of going to Mr Singh at his private clinic for my revision. I’ve spoken to a few girls who’ve had him for XL implants and he seems to be quite open minded but no one with saline as of yet. Yeah that’s another issue about my skin; I don’t want my boobs to look like an atlas from stretch marks lol so it may be easier to just fill them up gradually. I’m not prone to marking but you never know!

I think your 800’s easily look in the 1000’s though compared to those pics dolly.

I remember seeing a good website that had pics of saline next to silicone & it really showed the difference, had similar sized people to compare them too x

@mini I think when a saline implant ruptures it’s very apparent from the beginning so it can be dealt with quickly. It does come out quite a bit but not gushing out if that makes sense lool xx

Yeah those last ones are a bit too round, but I wouldn’t be overly upset if mine ended up looking like that either. The 2000’s on that page aren’t too bad either

That’s what I want my boobs to look like out of a bra; big, round and not toooo much upper pole fullness…4 months to wait x

Just the thought of them rupturing makes me cringe. God, can you imagine if you were out on the town n one ruptured.

What should of followed is…. In all seriousness I defo think silicone would be the better choice. Purely for the fact it would keep its shape if it was to rupture. Having said that, Dolly, your boobs are huge. From the pics you have on here I would put them up there with the biggies. Obviously we know your implants are smaller than some of the ppl on that link but they certainly don’t look it.

It’s kinda hard to imagine what 1300/1500 would look like on you as you already look so big. Personally I’d think twice about going to the 1300+ sizes. But it’s your body n if it would make you happy then go for it. X

Hmm I’m still not sure, there are pro’s and cons to both so we shall see! They may look reallyyyy big in bra’s and when I’ve got clothes on, but if you check some of the topless pics I have up now, they really don’t look all that

As mentioned before, I want more projection, upper pole fullness and for them to be bigger in general. They just don’t feel big enough if you know what I mean? I’m really set on having a re op though…I don’t hate my boobs but I just think they’re okay…not bad, not good, just okay I’m sure it’ll make me veryyy happy although my Dad wants to kill me haha! He can make it an early birthday present to mee

Yes I’m sure. From the beginning I wanted implants that were 1000cc’s or more as all the others I looked at didn’t look big enough for me and the biggest I could go for my first surgery was 800cc’s so I just want to get what I want, that’s all.

I might get a rhinoplasty with my BA and I think I’ll be all good after that…don’t need anything else x

i know exactly where ur comin from dolly! i love when they look HUGE out of a bra and round, not just in a bra! and that fake roundness at the top of the boob (like what u get when in a bra) but id want that to stay when u get undressed! i want ur 800s lol!

I would prefer the silicone just because it feels a little more safer and aren’t the saline ones more likely to rupture as they are slightly more delicate?

I would have a rhinoplasty and possibly veneers but going to wait a few years x

To be honest theres nothin attractive about any of those pics on those links, they look awful. Its going too far, and spending daddys money all day long is not the way forward either, u should be happy with what you have got

@emilylouisexxxxx I’ve done some digging and saline implants now have the Biocell textured layer like on the silicone ones? So they’re a lot safer than they used to be. Like I said, it’s just an idea, I still have a few more months to decide…but I think overfill is a really good idea to build them up gradually so there isn’t too much skin trauma/thinning…I love my veneers! x

Not at all aysha, i dont need to be a know it all to tell u that dolly has body dysmorphia and should be going to see her doctor not a surgeon! What is she doing to herself? If i was her parents i certainly wouldnt be handing over endless amounts of cash so she can go and destroy herself, she looks like something from thailand where u can’t tell if its a male/female !

personally i think ur boobs are huge and look great but if ur not 100% happy and have the money to change and make things better then go for it. It’s all a small price to pay when it gives you so much more happiness and confidence in your body x

If we were to be ‘happy with what we have got’ then this forum wouldn’t exist and no one would be having surgery! It’s up to the individual what size they want to go to! Some people only increase by 1 cup size and I’ve thought what’s the point but if that’s all they wanted then who am I to judge? Some people like big boobs and some like small, it’s up to the individual!x

@bethy I’m not 100% sure myself lol! Like I don’t know how the procedure is performed but I think they can fill up the implant through a small incision while the implants are inside you….still looking. Will let you know if I find anything! xx

i think they wouldnt do so many saline implants if they were a great chance at rupturing, just looke threw the 1st link you posted dolly…. Thanks i was already boob greedy im even more so now hehe xx

Ah right, so I wonder if the scar will be smaller if they put the implant in before they top it up. Genius. Saline sounds good to me – I wonder why it’s not very common here, maybe because bigger implants aren’t requested as much as in USA?

@msnorton82. I totally understand that the ‘look’ I have isn’t for everyone but there was no need for the things that you said. If you were truly trying to advise me then you wouldn’t try and put me down. Some people have mentioned that they don’t think I need more surgery and while I still maintain the desire for another BA, I have listened to them and considered their reasoning because they haven’t been rude about it, whereas you have.

Girls, thanks for all your comments that stick up for me but you are giving this person exactly what they want; attention. Don’t get me wrong, I really appreciate everything that’s been said on my behalf but they can’t argue with themselves can they if you just ignore them x

Im sorry but i actualy agree they do look like a bum no offence dolly! I use to sport that orange Lookin Bottle blonde,2Much make up look! and i was treated like crap and now realise it was because i looked trashy! Dolly Couid look Lovely if she wanted to!
