scar re opened !!

Scar re opened on tthe end rung emergency line other day I had my appointment today at ten . They said it was at 12 ! I wwoulldnt book it for then as I’m working ! Now I can’t see any one !!! X

Oh Hun can u not ring and say your really worried and it needs to be seen? If they defiantly can’t squeeze u in then see ur GP? X

I agree with amy26. Or ring your pa. You need to make sure all is well. Take care.x keep us posted. X

Its missgrl by way I deleted my account . Gp said won’t touch it because its pprivate . I was outside the clinic !! They had pre op in ! I said I don’t want to see the nurse now only my surgeon as made me mad ! X

Omg! Your gp won’t see you because it’s private!? That’s ridiculous! More of a reason to push MYA and make sure you get to be seen. I means what’s the point in having an emergency number if you can’t use it!? Xx

omg thts awful how long are u po? who is ur surgeon?? any1 in their right mind would realise ur the priority not the pre op! xx

I think mine maybe opening too. I’m too worried to look though! my right hurts like hell but my left feels fine.. Really worried xx

You need to go mya hun pos, my scars re opened at 4 weeks and i got an infection and was really ill. i now see the nurse once a week and tell it heals. Go see the nurse as soon as you can. xxx

How did they open? Mine still have the steri strips on as I’m 6 days PO so I don’t actually know xx

I really dont know how mine opened, but they opened. Just remember to keep resting. x

Thanks tasha. That must have been awful. Is everything all right now? It’s probably my own fault. I have a 1 year old and when they are crying with tears in their eyes that they want a cuddle, I can’t help but do it. And then not long after she wants to play and ends up kicking me in my incision or something painful like that! My own fault really

dont worry if your wound has opened mine did and started to leak clear fluid slightly and my stitch was even poking out by 4cm, I seen nurse she simply cleaned me up, cut away excess stitch and then put on some steri strips which I had to keep dry 3days im perfect now this happened 4 weeks post op!!! hope you get sorted xx
