Scar strips??

Hey whats the name of those strips you cut off to put on your scars? Has anyone got a link to a site that sells them at a reasonable price? Dont wana get the wrong ones!! thanks girls xxx

I haven’t actually used the gel yet lol..just put a bit on last night and that was all – waiting for the all clear from the nurse at my 6 week check on thursday and then i’m gonna go to town on my boobs haha xx

im over the moon with dermatix sheets think they r fab! xx

I was gonna get the sheets as i heard they are better than the gel but it would take me ages to cut them up to fit around my nipples lol so i thought the gel would be easier for me xx

There on eBay fir a quarter of the price hun for the biggest sheet aswel! There isn’t any on at the min I just looked for you but they always get them so I’d just keep checking X

Not to sound really thick but I didn’t even know that i’m supposed to buy these strips/gel!?! Do they help block out bacteria or something?! Someone please tell me!!xx

they are silicone based and are meant to help reduce your scars hun xx

When are you supposed to use these strips? When your bandages come off?

How long are you supposed to wear them for?

You are advised not to use them for 6 weeks until your scars have healed, not sure how long you use them for though xx

i started from wk3, for at least 12-24hrs a day and until u feel happy with how your scars look i suppose. im stil wearing them 5months on. its up to u how long, they reduce the raised bits alot at the beginning. xx

oh i’ll def have 2 invest in some of these – anything that will help heal the scars the better how much are they on ebay?? x

i got told wen i saw my nurse at 2 n half wks that my scars had healed great n i cud start them, so suppose it jst depends. the price differs on ebay, bt the largest sheet is supposed to be around £90-100 and they are usually on ebay for around £20! so a good bargain! xx
