scared!!!

hey girls im really scared of the pain im going to be in after my ba which i have on 10th feb which is this thursday!! i have 3 children who are 6years 3 years and 4 and half month my 4 month will be at his nana n grandads for 3 nights but when i get him i still have the school run to do and wont be able to drive either how much pain will i be in and how long will it last!!! i have a partner but he works full time and wud do everything on a weekend and look after us but when hes at work how will i cope!!!!! my family are against what im doing to my body so dont really want to ask for there help as they will just go on bout i shudnt have getting in done1!! x

Oh no wot a shame honey. I have a 4year old and a 5month old. My surgeon said for bout 1 week I will pretty much b very restricted 2 wot I can do. I’m lucky enough that my mums took time off work to look after the kids and me. Maybe u shld talk to your family and explain why u r having this done and how much you could struggle without there support and they might b a bit understanding xx

maybe if my 4 month old wud stay at my partners dads for bit a longer wud that help me then i just have my 6 year old and 3 year old to take to school and nursery x

Yea I think tht wld make ur life a lot easier. If ur babys anything like mines n loves cuddles n kisses u rly will need more help than just 3days huney xx

I popped into Ann summers today and I was soooo excited! I can’t wait to go underwear shopping, I’ve never worn a balconette bra and really want one after, and I really want a corset too have you got any specific items on your post op wish list? X

ive all ready worn some stuff like that for my partner as ive got the legs hahah so at the min im a leggy girl… i wana be able to show to bumps on my chest aswel as my ass and legs hahaha want to be able to buy any bra i want anarl eeee i cant wait x

Hey Laura, I too am shitting myself now! I think its even worse when you have little ones (I have a 3 and 1 year old) because you are always thinking about worse case scenario (or is that just me??!!) Got my bras ready, just need to pack my overnight bag. I have flaming cold and phoned Emma, my nurse, today. She said I should be fine and that I had no need to worry about taking aspirin last week (totally forgot I shouldn’t have!) So I am dosing myself up on day nurse now with my fingers crossed that it doesn’t get any worse!

Emma said she would ring me tomorrow tih admission times for Thursday. I presume I might be later as I am an overnight case and you will get yours done first. So exciting!!!

My mum is coming over to look after me for a week and a bit. There’s no way I’d be able manage, especially with having uplift too. I agree with the others-try to rope in as much help as possible from friends and family. Just bite your tongue if they have a go. Its sad that they don’t understand really, but hopefully they will see what a difference it makes to you afterwards xxx

i always get my legs out too nut up top i have to totally pad up! its frustrating but thats all going to chnage in two days, we’ll be boobilicious in no time hunn. good luck! x

Yeah, I’m in Rochdale too laura. If yo’re overnight too then I will most probably see you there! I don’t know whether its too late. Have you paid for the overnight? Phone your pc tomorrow and ask. If you’re just having the BA you should be alright just as a daycase. Do you live near by?
