Scared!!

Hey guys I’m having my surgery Sept 28th with Dr Adamo at Highgate in London…im actually terrified about being put to sleep than anything else and even considered not going ahead with my surgery because if this fear!!! can anyone put my mind at ease on this? help!

I can!! I was really scared of the ga. Honestly it was fine, I went down didn’t know what to expect, was so nervous. The anaesthetist didn’t tell me he was giving me the actual drugs, hi thought he was just putting the needle in! Next min I was gone, no pain, panic or anything. Came round in recovery – I was there for 15 mins but it felt like 2 mins. Back in my room I felt abit sick so asked for more anti emetics which they gave straight away. Honestly, I wad a little light headed but apart from that I was ok. If u get shivery which I did they give you this fab bed heater which feels amazing!! Xx I’d have another any day! X

Oh my god your mad. Thats the best bit for me! I love being out to sleep lol. Have you ever been put under before? xxx

awwwwwwwww hun,easy for me to say,when you are so scared,but honestly you have nothing to worry about,they are all experts in theatre,they will make sure you are safe,having this op will give you so much confidence,don’t be scared, there are over 3000,members on MYA,almost all will have had GA,all the girls will tell you it really is safe and nothing to worry about,honestly you will be here in a couple of months proud as a peacock with your lovely new boobies telling new members not to worry,ask the other girls if you dont believe me,this will the best thing you ever do in your life,It was for me.xxxxx

I also didnt know what to expect but as daisyduke has said its really fine. Does happen so quick b4 u know it your gone and then b4 you know it again your awake you’ll be fine honestly hun. xx

PLEASE don’t worry I was the same! And I’ve had it this morning it all happens so quick the next thing you no your awake touching your new boobies! I was terrified I wasn’t going to wake up an see my baby again! I’m here now having had one of the best experiences! Try not to worry youll be fine! Xx
