scared of having unders

:cry:hi ladies is it true that when u have unders the surgeon pulls ur muscle off your ribcage im sorry but just thinking about this hurts me, :cry:is that why theres a longer healing period for having unders

Not 100% sure but I think that is correct I’m sure I’ll be offered unders because I have nothing and want to look as natural as possible. So many people have unders, we’ll be fine x

Go on youtube and type in brest enlargement operation and you can watch the operation i seen the unders 1 they make a pocket to fit the inplant in under the muscle.

I’am sure you will be fine! And it will all be worth it in the end! x

i had under approx 12 weeks ago

im not sure what they do with the muscle as was originally told overs but during surgery surgeon decided on different placement.

After my op my ribs were very tender so its possible that they pull the muscle off.

If i was you i would not think about the way they do it, i had unders and honestly the pain is no way near as bad as you imagine. nessy you have had kids it just feels like when you get your milk comes in after you have had them for the first week then the second week was more like i had bruses every where the 3rd week was when i was feeling alot more normal x x

im having unders too…460cc’s!!! im so scared, i dont fully understand why dr. kazazzi thought unders were better because i have a fair amount of tissue…just saggy. im wondering whether i should change to overs. i feel exactly the same nessy, when are you booked for and who’s your surgeon? xx 😯

maybe if you asked him for a natural look unders apparently are more natural x

JAMIELYNN = i took ur advice and went on youtube watched a ba video surgery and i felt even more scared however, i have since calmed down and im glad i watched it its good to know what will happen and i now feel more assured.

yeah i met dr. kazazzi a few weeks ago, hes really nice and knows exactly what you want before you even say it. he took all my measurements and advised me on my options. He didnt say just one, but he explained what different implants will look like and how they differ in final results, and then i chose which result i wanted. Hes very calm and friendly and makes you feel relaxed, i have no doubts at all. Its great once you’ve had your consultation it’s just a waiting game eeek! I’m booked for the 4th Feb not long now! Just dont know how to tell the in laws haha!! I think you should request kazazzi, ive met him and my experience was nothing but positive! Im just scared of having unders too! haha let me know how your consultation goes my love x x

according to my surgeon they only dp partial unders and i have looked it up, hardly any surgeons do fully underneath the nuscle unless youve maybe had a breast removed because of cancer or something. you have about 3 layer of muscle to go through before your ribcage but my surgeon told me when people say they’re having “unders” theyre only having their implants under 1 layer of muscle, dont be scared its not as horrific as it may have been made out to be ill try and find the website that shows u all the different placements of implants and ill post it on here

if u even look at what is known as “complete Submuscular” it says “Having the implants completely beneath the pectoral muscles ALONE is not anatomically possible.” so either way, no your muscles will NOT be ripped off of your ribs lol and your most likely only having partial unders……

i had overs, and both surgoens i saw said that unders actually give a more fake look. they both said that in every case possible they would always give overs! i had overs and they look so natural! mr c is a god

Bexie pie is that true bout really only having partials? Thats put my mind right at ease lol. I knew we have a few layers if chest muscle and was worrying that if they lift all them this would affect strength lol. So really some sergrons who say their patients have had partials tell the truth lol. Grrr xxxx

My surgeon told me that like 90% of the time when patients say they’ve had “unders” it IS actually only partial ‘unders’

My surgeons told me I am the “perfect candidate for having overs” but I’m a bit scared of having unders because A. It’s harder to tell if you have breast cancer. B. Your more likely to experience bottoming-out which is basically where the implant moves down to a strange place and exposes the scar more. and C. if you have over I think they sag quicker and if I waant 505ccs which is QUITE big then I’d rather NOT sag quick….I think if you have overs it’s more likely to affect your ability to breastfeed than if you were to have unders….I’ve still to see him again though in like April so we’ll see what he says

I want overs but ive been recommended unders but ive got quite quite a bit of tissue so I dont understand?? x x

bexie.pie – tar for ur reply hunni. Even before ihaf my consult i wanted unders…so im happy. I think theres.a.lot of pros and. Cons with either. So dont worry xx

just went to my pre op appointment. Feel soooooo much better now. She explained about why I’m having unders, I understand now. she said i still should see kazazzi, and I dont want another surgeon because he’s the one I feel most comfortable with!

The implants I’m having are 460’s and feeling the weight of them again i understand why they need the muscle to support them. She said they would sag really soon if they didnt have the right support. Plus she said it is slightly more painful but there’s a lot less chance of CC with unders less chance of rippling and infection. Plus because I’ve got quite a lot of tissue it wont hurt as much because i wont be stretched as much.

Mines 4th Feb hunni…4 weeks Friday wooo! Yeah feel loads better sweety. I understand and ffor me personally unders sound better, more secure and less long term risk. so im happy to deal with a bit more pain. Who’s your surgeon? xx

Yeah, that’s what I was told! I do want mine to stay, as saggyness is my current issue!! I’m having Dr. Kazazzi, he’s really lovelyy and relaxed and extremely confident which helps a lot! My PC had him as well so that’s good. I will definitely keep you updated hunny…soooo excited. Still this funding issue haven’t heard anything yet but for now I’m booked in and staying positive! x x
